I have read so many articles, tweets, essays and everything you can think of about success. I tried to piece it all together and conclude it in one simple reason that even a kid can understand it. And I found that the common denominator of all successful people is ‘the desire’.

‘The desire’ is what you truly want. When you think about it, this is undeniably true.

It all comes down to “Do you really want it so bad?”. If the answer is yes, you will do EVERYTHING and ANYTHING to get what you want.

Your desire is the mental point of origin.

Your desire is why you do what you do.

Your desire is why you avoid what you avoid.

Now, I have to clear the air first. I FULLY acknowledge the fact that good systems, great strategies, supportive mentors, helpful environments etc are also very important to achieve success.

But these all will NOT work UNLESS you have ‘the desire’.

It’s not the only thing that matters. But without it, nothing else matters.

The simplest example is making money. If you genuinely want money so bad, you will not give an ounce of excuse. Keyword: Genuinely.

And I want you to look deep into your memory lane and see EVERY SINGLE GOAL that you achieved successfully was because you got a HUGE desire to get it.

Having the desire made me lose 13 KG. Having the desire made me start my business. Having the desire made me go out and approach my current girlfriend.

“But what about people who claim they have big goals but lazy to get after them?”

Then they don’t want it bad enough!

This is the thing that brings me to the next point: ‘The desire’ is manifested through action.

You cannot be ambitious but lazy. It means that you don’t actually want it.

Understand this, HUGE desire makes you want to work. You cannot just want something but you don’t do shit.

A clear example would be when you are horny.

Horniness aka the sexual desire makes you wanna do something.

You might masturbate, have sex, work out or do something. You cannot just sit there being horny. The desire to do something is HUGE.

So ask yourself again: Do you really want it so bad?
