I hope that someone from /r/deadbedrooms will read this post and connect with it.

While I have never been in a dead bedroom, I have been treated as Jeremy implies husbands are treated in his rant. And there was one reason for that, and that was because I let it happen to myself. This was in the past.

On to today, on one hand, it brings me pleasure to have women in my life who prioritize me, cherish the time they spend with me, do things to bring joy to my life, and want me. On the other hand it brings me so much more stability and well-being to systematically remove any woman from my life that deviates from that into territory that I do not prefer.

The resolve that I have and the lack of hesitation that I possess to completely cut a woman out of my life no matter how hot she is, how good the sex is, how good [insert quality here] is, brings me the stability that I need to live my own fulfilled life without deviation from my goals or life enjoyment.

I could like a woman quite a bit in the moment, but at the point where I sense something that I do not like about her, it is comforting to know that there is no other option for me than to ensure my wants, goals, enjoyment, etc are met. Of course we are all humans and people do have hiccups here and there, these are not a problem. I will overlook minor hiccups, especially if the woman acknowledges her mistake. Non-minor bad behavior will be met with a stern reaction that will ensure she knows that I do not find it acceptable. She should already know that it's not acceptable to do, the differentiating factor being that I will blatantly show her that there is a wall in terms of acceptable behavior. At that point it will be her choice to choose whether or not she wants to be a part of my life and stay within that limit of behavior.

Because I blatantly showed her a wall, any future misbehavior on her part in terms of crossing this known line will similarly show blatant disrespect towards me. She always has a choice to walk away and say "I'm sorry, this can't work, so I am going to leave". There is no excuse for this behavior, a woman is smart enough to understand and remember where you drew the line, then she has the choice of whether or not to cross it.

And when she crosses it, this brings me back to how I let myself get treated poorly during a period of my life. Back then I didn't take action and started to salvage "but it's not so bad, she has this positive quality and that positive quality". One thing that was obvious is that the dynamic shifted and I was no longer in control of the behavior that I accepted towards myself. No amount of wiggling would reset things back to the way when I was a man and what I said would be respected. It was akin to a parent telling their child not to eat a cookie from the cookie jar "Don't do that, you don't want to do that". And when the child reaches in, grabs a cookie, and eats it, there is no consequence.

Which brings me back to how much stability and well-being I have now because I know that if anyone crosses my line, there is no question that I will remove them from my life to ensure my wants, goals, enjoyment, etc. No matter how good the girl is, I know that I would prefer a slightly less preferable girl over the one I prefer most, in order to live my life the way that I want to and allow a woman to behave towards me only in a fashion that I am truly satisfied with.

Time and time again this system that I use has proved to place me in situations with women that I truly enjoy and removed me from situations and women that I do not want to be a part of. While in the moment of taking the necessary action, it may feel to me that I am acting too harshly, but I have the hindsight from past situations to know that it's a slippery slope and that I absolutely do not like being disrespected.

And what happens after [insert whatever woman here] is cut out of my life? I continue to sleep at night, enjoy my life, build my career, set new goals for myself, etc. And best of all is that there are PLENTY of other women who are just as good or better.

If you have things in your life that you don't like, then start working to change them into things that you do like.

So you worked on Top Gear? What are your feelings towards the rumors they're adding women to the new cast "just to switch it up"?

This will be awesome. They'll suck, viewers will drop, and then they'll accuse the viewership of being sexist and it will in no way be the fault of the new (female) presenters.

Fucking good riddance. Clarkson was the majority of the reason I watched. What the world needs is information and humor, and he was epic at delivering both just by being genuine. It's sad honestly, but I'm sure he's perfectly chill so no worries I guess.

If they infuse British women into that show it will end in a blown cylinder, like one of the hired women flipping a car and filing suit for putting her in danger even though they paid her thousands or something ridiculous. I just see it puttering out. Someone get Clarkson a gig in America, we applaud drunken outbursts and genuine disgust in the system.

That's a really long paragraph.

Even though you shouldn't have to because it should be formatted. I find highlighting the line you are on helps.

I do that all the time, but OP didn't put any effort into it, so neither will I.

We already knew that women with horses are nuts. Good read.
