a lot of dudes get fooled by makeup and think a girl doesn't use a lot of makeup when actually the girl is just really good a using a lot of makeup to look natural.

in my experience, light-skinned middle eastern girls (and the few north indian girls who are hot) tend to be least disapointing when the makeup comes off, and asian girls universally wear tons of makeup and look hideous when you finally see them without makeup. white girls vary a lot but mostly just look plainer without makeup but don't suddenly drop like 2-3 points on the 10 point scale like asian girls.

you can do the shower test or you can creep on her social media. find pics of her at a wedding or formal dance or something like that where you know she will be going all out on the makeup. the girls who look pretty similar in all their pics are the ones who use a lot of makeup in their ordinary day-to-day lives. the ones where you can see a big difference are the girls who look good naturally and only use a lot of makeup on special occasions.

The male equivalent is "Oh you don't need to dress well".

Like any self respecting male (other than the dude) would walk around in public dressed in loungewear.

I've found a good way to do this early on is to mention I "don't like girls who wear much make up". When they ask farther I say I don't mind makeup but I like a girl who doesn't feel the need to wear it or some bs. This usually results in a date with them wearing minimal makeup immediately followed up by a date where they obviously take a lot of time doing their make up.

As long as they put on makeup every day, who cares? Shit, if a girl doesn't wear makeup, I take that as a red flag that she's either lazy OR narcissistic.
