I met a girl at a bar, and to be honest, she was just another number at this point. I got her number, left, texted her to meetup later, and went home. Next day, I texted her to meet up for coffee, and when we did, we both hit it off.

Fast forward three months later, and after all the niceties, intimacy, and fun activities, she suddenly became a bit flaky. She kept telling me how she was busy with big orders for her business, and had to meet up with friends. At this point, any attempts to make plans with her were met with (1) A tardy text reply...I'm talking > 24 hours and (2) An excuse for why we can't meet up.

At this point, I realized something was up. So I texted her to let her know that I was going to give her space. Within the next day, she responds back apologizing profusely for being so lazy in her responses and how she's been so busy for the past few days. She ends it with the fact that she's going on vacation for 3 weeks and will be MIA...

I reply by telling her that we need a break. A day later, she responds back indicating that she just wants to be friends and not lovers. She thinks the activities we do are fun, and wants to continue doing them.

Seeing as how I want to avoid the dreaded friend-zone like the plague, I respond back telling her that it is odd for us to continue to just be friends because (1) We've already been intimate with each other and (2) I'm attracted to her. I told her that this will not work out...

So far, no response back. I don't expect a response back in the immediate future...but chances are, she'll reply back after a few weeks. We'll see how this one goes.
