Preface: Nothing I'm posting here is new, but rather the perception of some sidebar material I was rereading mixed with my own reflections on it. These reflections are what finally made this concept of treating her like a bratty child/most responsible teenager, etc. click for me and explaining the why that worked best for me. I don't expect this to be groundbreaking for everyone, but maybe some men here will be able to relate to the reflections here and it will click better for them.

Reflections:

Taking on the father role in a relationship with a woman is kinda like becoming to women what we are taught to seek from them by BP programming in relationships. We are trained by society to seek women's validation and place them on a pedastal, which in turn gives them the power which they only enjoy until they become responsible for the decisions made with that power. Women don't want that level of responsibility and just want to be able to feel good around their man, not be his mother. This means that it is the man's burden to realize that once he has grown up, the luxury, yes luxury, to seek validation from a woman (mommy) and actually receive it ends. We as men then have to take on the role very similar to a father to his daughter in a relationship. This means the woman wants to please you (though in many cases very different ways from her actual father) and in many ways similar or the same. In order to maintain this "fatherly" position in her life, you can't seek her validation because then you're falling into the son's role to the mother. This is why it is literally impossible to turn a woman on by seeking her validation and putting her on a pedastal. You are forcing her into the mommy position when she wants and needs to be in the daughter position.

This is especially true when it comes to women who have daddy issues because they have never been allowed to be in the daughter position (due to lack of a real father), so their view of it becomes literally perverted. She'll seek it in any form she can get and will avoid the mommy position as much as possible until she has a kid (usually from a man she called "daddy" during sex).

Bringing this back to how to use it, this means you have 2 options when it comes to having a relationship with a woman (outside of minimal investment and limited contact professional relationships). You can choose to be her "son" by pedastalizing her and seeking her validation. This will result in the very shit type of relationships we know to fail miserably. The second option then is to take on the "fatherly" role and let her fall in line to the "daughter" position where she is happiest (and has the least responsibility) and is more suited and used to if she had a healthy relationship to her father, or craves because she is biologically driven to have them but didn't have a healthy relationship with a father growing up (beta dad or absentee). Summary/TL;DR

Men have 2 primary roles in regards to relationships with women. Father and son. Choose father.
