This subreddit has taught me that man's greatest strength is to walk away from a bad deal. Women. Jobs. Friends. Family. Even Children.
I put this into practice with a long time "friend" of 5 years who was attempting to utilize Redpill truths to achieve Bluepill ideals.
You see, he was married with kids.
No matter how much he lifted, fasted, ketoed, and read, he went back to his blue pill house and into the flabby arms of his shrew of a wife.
He wanted to be like me: no attachments, no commitments, money in the bank, low living cost, the ability to walk away from the job at any time.
I achieved all those things by paying the price. I walked away from my old life. I sacrificed my hopes and dreams to get where I am today.
But he couldn't bring himself to do the same. Instead, he attempted to bring me down to his level, instead of putting in the hard work to get to mine.
So I walked away without remorse, closure, or an explanation. Ghosted in a day. I learned that day that you can't save anyone but yourself, which leads me to this point:
Someone has to be under you if you want to be on top.
If you cannot walk away from everything, at any time, for any reason, without being paralyzed with fear of the consequences, then you're not at the top. Your journey is not complete. You are not free.
You may be a perfectly fine individual, attempting to internalize RP truths. You lift, eat well, and sex it up with the best of them. But if you clip your own wings, you cannot fly with the eagles.
At the time, I wanted so desperately to bring my "friend" up to my level, because I pitied him. Now I see it for what it was, I wanted to validate RP truths and thus, validate myself.
Some people are blossoms, others are destined to be nothing more than leaves.
TRP doesn't need my validation. It doesn't need me to be it's salesman. It doesn't need me to be it's crusader.
The Red Pill just is- and that's OK. It will be here, unchanged, long after I'm gone.
Not everyone can walk away with a trophy.
There will always be someone who's further along than you. That's life. Survival of the fittest, mother nature's shit test. Instead of wishing for the race to be easier, think about what you need to do to catch up.
Learn to walk away. If you can't, don't blame your life- blame yourself. Own your shit.
Edit: abridging this post. Definitely getting a mixed reception. This isn't some concern troll over the hotly debated AMOGing amongst the TRP, although that did have an influence and helped me write this post up. I've flaired it as a rant/venting. Thats what it's starting to look like anyway
A reply of mine from a comment chain:
Definitely alot of people looking into what I did, instead of why I did it.
What has stirred me up: my father has been suffering a slow decline in health while I was twiddling my thumbs in bluepill land.
My dad has always struggled to instill upon me redpill truths whilst also struggling with bluepill dogma. He was a man ahead of his time. Old school.
This last year: my father was breaking frame, couldn't walk, eat, sleep, dialysis, tube fed, diapers, tubes. He shed a tear and told me he was ready to give up.
So I stepped up.
I walked away from my own place. I gave away cars. Bought a crappy trailer. Left my career and hopped between jobs. Confronted my weakness over a oneitis.
As for my pal: he was a "friend" who was a con artist, was letting his children be abused by his wife whilst he secretly indulged in video games, and generally attempted to instill upon me a cognitive dissonance. Basically, it's OK to talk the talk, and only sometimes walk the walk This was a critical time for my father's health. So I walked. He wasn't redpill by any stretch and I was essentially attempting to red Knight him.
The answer was clear for him, take the hit in the pocket book: file for divorce and get his kids away from her half the time at the least. He chocked, because money. My dad did it for me when he was going through much of the same shit: he gave my mother the house and half of his business as well as savings to get me away from my abusive mother. Him and I, when I grew up, lived in the back of his store. Taking showers in a laundry tub, him sleeping on the floor of the bathroom next to a toilet for a year because that was the only spot he could stretch out comfortably. He didn't break frame when it came to life, and he got what he wanted: a happy life, full of adventure, with his son.
I wanted to be fucking awesome 24/7. That's my mission. That's who I want to see in the mirror, so he had to go.
This isn't concern trolling about the red versus fakes, although I'm sure it lends itself to that based on how I worded it.
This is a post to highlight a struggle I had in myself, realizing my power, and abandoning my dreams of being a leader of some redpill movement outside of this forum and focusing on taking care of myself and my family.
Definitely alot of people who aren't hearing the spirit of the message, but that's not my problem. Many will probably never get what it means to walk into an uncertain and risky future from a place of comfort and security, of their own accord.
Yes, I didn't get to choose my circumstances in life but I've definitely been on my own terms in how I've handled them. If you had told me I would be changing my dad's diaper after feeding him through a tube in his stomach with a smile, in a (big) travel trailer I had bought from a settlement I had won against a shady employer, I would of told you you're nuts.
Still go to the gym. Still eat right. Still lift. Still read.
The hopes and dreams I had were if settling down with a soul mate in a house while working a job I love. Gave that all up.
My only dream now: save my dad and show him this good redpill shit I've learned. Don't want him to leave this world seeing me as a fat, lazy, oneitis loving, beta cuck slave that was ready to raise someone else's child. I want to show him that everything he went though had a purpose.
I wanted his tenacity to be rewarded. I wanted to live up to the standard he set forth.
Here's another part illustrating my realization of man's power.
I had walked into work and received a write up, I won't go into too much detail, but the gist of it was a complaint from a girl at one of my companies' biggest accounts. They wanted to put me into female sensitivity classes.
I laughed in my manager's face, told him I don't need that shit. I brought them into my frame and we all laughed about awalt. They then assured me they wouldn't push it up to corporate, to which I replied "fuck it, what are they going to do, fire me?"
They didn't. Because they needed me more than I needed them. I could walk away at anytime because I wasn't their slave. My frame screamed it. I ended up walking out with a raise when all was said and done. Got a good laugh, and it definitely made my dad swell with pride from his hospital bed at the time of hearing it.
Like I said, I wanted to highlight that man's greatest strength is being able to walk away. Cherish it.
Thanks for giving my post a read. I hope it helps you as much as it helped me. Felt good giving back a little to this forum.
