A massive overhaul of the alimony system is the only way that future generations of men will even begin to consider marriage.

Women/feminists and the system they support are incredibly pragmatic. They are opportunists first and foremost. Whatever strategy enables them to acquire as many shiny things as possible is the strategy they will adopt. Whilst men will still marry, they have no incentive to change the system that's in place. In fact, they have every incentive to keep playing the game - relationship trapping men, escalating to marriage through ultimatums/dread game/guilt trips (manipulation when we do it to women to get laid, but apparently fine when they're looking to enforce commitment) and then they wait a few years to swoop in with the divorce rape and financially clean up. Generally they get a child support double whammy and fuck up the life of some poor kid whilst they're at it too. Sometimes its a conscious process in a woman, other times it isn't.

For the women and blue pills who truly believe in NAWALT it doesn't matter whether you decide to meticulously plan this shit or not. If you don't keep your oath UNTIL YOU DIE, and with your emotions as impulsive as they are, you won't, shit will hit the fan. And a gigantic ugly natural disaster-esque storm of shit it will be - a shitstorm of depressing proportions (at least for the man.) I hear some women have divorce parties nowadays, that's fucked up. As a man, no matter what a woman's intention is, the result is the same either way. Women are too fickle to be held to their word. A woman's word versus financial ruin is a high-risk, low-return investment. No amount of beauty is worth that. Not even a promise of family is worth that.

Only when hardly a soul will collectively marry the female demographic in spite of their beauty and resultingly they're left to fend for themselves will the powers that be become incentivised to make the law more favourable to men. And if/when the law does become more favourable to men it won't be to help men (as they may frame it as an act of oh so mighty benevolence or play it off as a concession won by the men's rights movement,) but rather as always it will be enacted in the interest of women. That's what feminism is - woman's advocacy. If all the feminist divorce lawyers and judges decide to make alimony laws more lenient, it's because there is a belief that firstly: they will increase the amount of money going through their hands/courthouses by changing the law, and secondly that women as a demographic will benefit from enacting such a judicial change. It will be nothing more than an elaborate ruse to encourage men to sign their balls over on the dotted line rather than avoid the institution completely. Whilst the divorce industry is profitable, this system is here to stay. When men start dropping out and divorce lawyers are going out of business we'll see a change.

Married men on here hate to hear it but marriage is farcical bullshit and you're living under nothing short of contractual slavery. Marriage is a pretence for wealth redistribution. You don't need marriage for kids, cohabitation will do just fine but to be honest you don't even need that, you can just visit/stay at her house all the time and have your own place to get away from her. In fact I would argue as much as she would hate the distance you create between yourself and her, the relationship may last longer because you have your space - a place to go no contact when she loses her shit and suddenly the dread causes her to acquire appreciation for you. What happens when you share a property and a bed? This self-entitled cunt is telling you to get out of your own bed and go sleep on the sofa. Fuck that. Being married is like having an anvil hanging off a cliff above you that follows you wherever you go, and should the wind blow in a way that pisses the woman off, that anvil will descend from the heavens upon you like the righteous wrath of god himself; only to desecrate and annihilate everything you've ever worked for and leave you a shell of your former self. Have you seen the male suicide rates caused by divorce? Fuck that shit, I like not being a suicidal alcoholic. Suits me fucking great actually.

As an aside, I've never been married. Luckily I've learnt vicariously from other men's pain to not need to make the mistakes they did in order to acquire the opinion I have. So a thank you to all the men who took one for the team. You can tell when a man has been divorced, you can see a unique kind of pain in his eyes. A soul wrought with the most despondent of torment.
