So, i came across this article, and i dont even want to talk about what she writes, just about her basic guidelines, what Men can do, NOT to be rapists.

1 Don’t have sex with drunk people. Drunk people cannot give consent.>

(I would like to agree - but I CAN NOT! At what point is a woman considered drunk?. After one beer? After 2? Where is the line? And IMO - A somewhat drunken girl that gives consent - has still given consent! If she is unconscious or NEARLY unconscious, then - yes it IS rape. But if a woman is somewhat drunk, has sex with you and enjoys it - How can it even be rape? Its not rape - It is bad decission making! Drink responsible. Dont drink and drive, dont drink and fuck.

2 Do not give people drugs or alcohol in an effort to lower their boundaries to get them to have sex with you. That’s rape.

(Agree 100 % - No questions asked)

3 Do not have sex with people under the age of consent.

(Agree 100 % - Goes without saying)

4 Ask your partner/one nighter/FWB, whatever, for consent. If consent is given, pay attention to them. Are they crying? Are they just lying there while you do sex to them rather than them having sex with you? Are they avoiding eye contact or tensed up? Are you looking at their face because you care enough about them on a basic human level to even glance at their face during sex? If so, you should be able to see if they are doing any of the things listed here. If they are, stop what you are doing. That person does not want to have sex with you. They may have felt pressured, afraid or scared to say no.

(I have SUCH a big problem with this. Consider this: Woman is sober, Woman likes the foreplay, Woman initiates Sex, THEN reconsiders and starts crying, you immediately stop having sex. YOU STILL HAVE RAPED HER. And all the way you had nothing bad in mind, you had visual and auditory confirmation, that she is into it. What now? She pretty much withdrew the consent halfway in.

Dont have sex with women without consent - if consent is given, pay attention... Jesus! BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR ACTIONS. Lets assume the woman in this scenario is sober, why in gods name was she not able to say "no" ONCE before she ended up NUDE in his BED before she let him put his penis inside her? I dont know. I BEG you - FORCE woman into a class where they have to learn to say "NO"!

And furthermore: Maybe its a first for him too and he has seen too much hentai and thinks - woman just DO cry when they have sex. I mean sure, that is totally fucked up and a very, very unlikely scenario, but ALL the burden of the responsibility is 100 % on the Man. FUCKIGN WHY?

5 Don’t have sex with people who are incoherent.

(... ... ... Like.... dont have sex with Women?) Edit: I dont wanted to bring this joke, but this point is just so... vague. "Incoherent"? ANY woman can claim she was "incoherent". So ANY Sex could be rape. "Yay, i had the best sex of my life with him, i really was into it, but now i am super-sad that i cheated on my boyfriend. But it is not my fault, i was being incoherent. Dear Feminists - I respect (some of) you, but in this case - FUCK OFF!

6 Don’t have sex with people who are unconscious.

(100 % agree)

7 Don’t have sex with people who say “no” or any other negating word or phrase.

(Agree 100 %) This is a No-Brainer. But there might be the same problem as above. Sex is going fine - until she - in the middle of the action - decides to say "No". Okay- Of course this means you have to stop RIGHT FUCKING NOW. That goes without question. But at this point a Woman could argue that you have raped her allready.

8 Don’t have sex with people who keep trying to push you away or off of them.

(Agree 100 %)

9 Do not have sex with somebody who is sleeping.

(Agree 100 %)

10 Do not assume that somebody dancing with/holding hands with/talking with or making out with means they want to have sex with you. Always get consent. Think seeking out consent isn’t sexy? Well, neither is being a rapist, so get consent.

(I agree)

So, there are a few points, that i can not agree on. Does this make me a rapist? Luckily I have never been in any of these situations, but IMO in places ALL the responsibility on the Male. And in some cases - you ALWAYS loose. And that is just not fair.

Edit: Formating - And also the link to the article does not seem to show up, so I'll just post it here:
