Disclaimer: This is based on logical inferences on a single blog of a foreigner documenting his experiences with Japanese women in a supposedly asexual Japan. Because the blog is a sample size of one (i.e. the author himself), the conclusions drawn by me may or may not be accurate. MGTOW and why it does not work. A small case study on the Japanese.

At least 70% of Japanese men and women claim to not be interested in sex, and on the principle that Japanese men have understood that their women are hypergamous. MGTOW is a movement/philosophy loosely defined as men saying 'enough is enough' and disregarding the sexual advances of women for self improvement and in order to send a message to them to change their hypergamous behavior. Japanese herbivores is a MGTOW-like social experiment taking place in Japan and these are the results.

A few example posts like these suggest that Japanese women are not shy of having sex and some are even willing to become pregnant.

Yes, I have impregnated a number of Japanese women, but as far as I know none of these women decided to or were able carry the child to term. Most of these ended in miscarriages, a byproduct I mostly chalk up to the woman’s age. Assuming that these are true, it would incur to me that when 70% of both Japanese men and women are proclaiming that they are uninterested in sex only one side is actually being serious about it. A basic conclusion is that Japanese women are saying this too because their ASD has sprung up due to 'MGTOW' being the cultural mainstream, however 'herbivorism' has made their threshold to sex is so low that once they have been sexually validated by a man (any man), they are incredibly easy to bed. It's not surprising that the many Japanese girls that are in 'sexually platonic' relationships with their boyfriends readily cheat with other men (most whom are foreign and not subscribed to the MGTOW ideas) to fulfill their sexual needs, and then go back home pretending to be sexually uninterested in an 'escalating SMV arms race' with the herbivore Japanese men.

While the birth rate in Japan is low, their marriage rate has largely remained the same (albeit dropped slightly). This suggests that while the men are withholding from women the ability to produce any progeny through sex, the women are still willing to marry up with them to control the man's resources. They do this despite the obvious detriment to their population and the future of their economy, which will become heavily care-orientated as the population becomes more geriatric. The women are able to do this because of their unique ability to covertly acquire sex anywhere from anyone while maintaining a facade of disinterest while out in public.

A key note to take into consideration is that having children is not an ultimate goal of women, the acquisition of a man's resources are. Children are merely a means to and end of securing said resources, and children to them are by extension a form of financial insurance. Having children usually means the government will award you with half of the man's wealth, or if not applicable, the government itself will provide the welfare for you. This is why many women 'sperm jack' men in order to become pregnant, or decide to have children after 30 years old despite the high risks of congenital deformities, because the promise of locking resources is far more important to them than the general welfare of the human life they are haphazardly going to bring into the world.

In the end of the day MGTOW is detrimental to men more because not only does it deprive themselves of a natural sexual outlet, it also hardly puts a dent in a woman's hypergamous nature because she'll simply move on or find other men (foreign or not) to satisfy her primal urges. What happens now is that these men have become perfect beta providers with the addition of neutering themselves so that women do not have to exchange anything at all for their resources. MGTOW is ineffective at conveying a message to women via sexual embargo and this is why MGTOW ultimately fails.

The differences between the MGTOW and the Redpill philosophy is that MGTOW is more of a social rebellion and sexual embargo in an attempt to force change within the sexual environment, but makes the false assumption that the receiving end are affected by this or even cares. The Redpill is still the most reliable way of navigating around society and to an extent handling women because it allows you to adapt and manipulate the social landscape through knowledge and accurate predictions of human nature. If Japanese men were to take the Redpill instead of the herbivore-MGTOW route, they would be absolutely ruthless and quite possibly conquer women all over the world.
