I live in a city with a lot of oil money flowing through it. Guys can go a couple hundred miles north and make upwards of $100k/yr without a high school education. It's hard, brutal and dangerous work.

The dating scene here has gotten so skewed that it's ridiculous. If you aren't making $80k you can forget about talking to a 7+/10 girl for more than 5min - once she finds out you're not making rig-money she'll drop you like a hot potato. Doesn't matter how 'alpha' you are, how good you look, etc. (speaking in generalities here, obviously there are exceptions)

The usual schedule for these workers is 3 weeks in the rig camps, 1 week in the city. Girls stay in their big houses, drive their $80k trucks, have money and gifts showered on them - and all they have to do is fuck their man for a week when they're home.

I am a big fan of TRP and have incorporated it into my life, but there are limits to it's effectiveness. Let's not delude ourselves into thinking that money isn't #1 when it comes to dating.
