I have read RP for years now and keep up to date with some of the posts that are made just to see what new information there is etc.
I just want to share what I have learned over the past few years in relation to RP and my experiences. I have studied Psychology for years and like to think I understand the mind and behaviors pretty well.
I am just going to share a few of my different thoughts on things and some of my experiences, and give some advice.
Rejection and Why it isn't as bad as you think
I see a lot of people on here talking about rejection and their fear of it. While i understand this and it is logical to fear rejection as it is something no-one likes, I want to tell you why it doesn't have to be something to be feared.
It is the main reason guys justify not approaching women 'what if she rejects me!!'. I understand this and I have been there so I can empathize with why guys feel this way. Though I have grew up and it has been a few years since I have posted so I have come to see new viewpoints on things and understand them differently.
Think about it for a second, you fear being rejected by a girl you want to approach, it may have been mentioned here before but if you approach your chances of getting a date/laid, whatever are 50%. If you don't approach your chances are 0%.
My main tip for getting over approach anxiety and fear of rejection are, just think logically for a second, you approach and she rejects you, what happens?, does the world end, can you never step outside again, is your confidence completely crushed?, the answer is no. Everyone is going to get rejected at some point in their life, hell, even James Bond got rejected when he asked out the woman at the beginning of Casino Royale, though through his game he still managed to turn this into a win and got laid, but I will explain how this happened in one of the other sections.
What I am saying is, if even James Bond, fair enough he is fictional, but is widely regarded as an Alpha male and an example of what masculinity is, can get rejected sometimes, then why should we, normal people fear being rejected and take it personally when it can happen to even the most alpha of us.
What you need to do is re-frame a rejection, by this I mean, if you approach a woman and she flat out rejects you, either nicely 'sorry I'm not interested' or even harshly where she laughs and walks away from you, don't start feeling the usual emotions - Anger - Shame - Embarrassment.
Though these may be what you feel they aren't beneficial for you in this situation, instead, even if you are rejected you should feel a sense of accomplishment because you even had the balls to approach, think how many guys around you wish they had the balls to do what you just did and even if they laugh at you being rejected (which isn't likely to happen, just making a point), think about it for a second, who is really winning in this situation, you approached, you got rejected, but you still approached, or the beta male who didn't have the balls to approach but laughs at your failed attempt.
It may just be because I'm getting older but honestly there is no reason to give a shit what other people think, I couldn't give a shit what strangers think of me, firstly I care what I think, then the opinions of my family and close friends but outside that I couldn't care about anyone else's opinion of me. I always think of that Conor McGregor quote whenever I think of why other peoples opinions of you doesn't matter 'They keep talking about what I'm doing, I don't give a shit what any of them are doing'. People may have different opinions on McGregor but when it comes to self confidence the man is incredible.
Behavior and Mindset
I understand the importance of having to look good and get a decent body, be in good shape etc, but I want to discuss aside from that why mindset is important, in getting women and in life in general.
There are a lot of different mindsets to go by, but one of the most freeing ones is the IDGAF mindset. By this I mean the IDGAF mindset basically is that you don't give a fuck what others think. I think of the opposite of this and it is horrific, imagine going through life caring what every single person thought of you, what you do, who you date etc. I could only imagine that being stressful as fuck, fuck that.
I'll give a classic example here that perhaps many of the older guys have experienced, I'm only 25 so have yet to experience this myself but have read many stories on it, saw many media stories on it. It is when guys date women younger than themselves. You see lots of older guys with younger women e.g. 33 year old guy dating a 22 year old, while you don't see much of the reverse, a young guy dating an older woman.
Lets go into the psychology behind this for a moment, what is the one shaming tactic always used when a woman sees a man her age dating a woman younger than her 'He can't handle woman his own age', 'Woman his age know all the tricks guys play'.
I guarantee people will have heard this insult or read a media story, or saw on social media this insult. Think about it for a second, why does she care. The answer is because the older woman knows she will never look as good as the 22 year old, and that time doesn't reverse, she can never go back to looking how she did at 22. So what does she have left, shaming tactics, that is to try and somehow shame you into not dating this hot 22 year old and instead dating a woman in her mid-late 30s. The logic behind that is ridiculous but as we all know, women aren't logical. Lets use another analogy for a moment, you are buying a car, you look around, see a nice car with perhaps 4000 miles on it, you also see another car, but it has 60000 miles on it, so you say to the salesman you will take the car with less mileage, as is a logical decision. Do you then let him/her shame you into taking the car with 60000 miles on it?, no because that would be insane.
I also ask you to tell me a woman who looked better in her 30s than she did in her 20s, chances are you won't find many who look better, but I've noticed, there are a lot more guys who look better in their 30s than they did their 20s than women, e.g. Hugh Jackman, Dwayne Johnson, Ryan Gosling etc. I'm aware these are famous people so the rules may be different with them than normal guys, but it is well known, that if a guy looks after himself, he ages slower than women.
Declining Masculinity and why it benefits you
Everyone always talks about Betas and Alphas in relation to picking up girls and how you carry yourself in your life and there is posts i've noticed on here and I have heard from people in real life who talk about the obsession with feminism in the last few years in society.
Lots of people talk about how feminism means guys are becoming more feminine and not learning to become masculine as they should, while i agree with this statement, from a purely selfish point of view i don't hate it.
The reason why is, to most people who are on here, you will either be RP, or learning RP so this should apply to you too, so from the selfish point of view think of it like this, the more beta males that feminists and society creates the better it is for a truly masculine alpha male. This is because, think about it, if every man today was masculine, alpha and had a good body, decent looks etc, lets say your chances of picking up a girl are 1/20 because the other 19 guys are just as masculine and alpha as you.
Now when you put beta males into this equation the odds change lets say 9/20 because immediately you stand out by not having a beta attitude and a decent-ish body. When you continue developing your body and looking better and learning new concepts and learning more about game etc the odds will go up again lets say to 14/20.
This is why, though I find it sad when I see a beta male, the selfish part of me thinks, one less man to compete with Keep being beta buddy! Leo DiCaprio lifting wine glass meme
The Power of Playfulness
I thought about this one for a little while and I truly believe this is one of the most important tools to have when picking up women or trying to charm a woman. It has always been in my mind the concept of playfulness, but it wasn't until I watched a few films and tv shows recently that it clicked.
The first time I noticed the effectiveness of playfulness, and fair enough it is fictional but it works the same in real life. I watched the TV show Lucifer and the main guy in it, aside from being good looking and having a good body has an extremely playful personality. The very first time he meets the main woman in the series he utilizes this playfulness. She approaches him and attempts to scold him for interfering with an investigation so she says
'You've got some balls on you pal'
For him to respond
'Why thank you, But they are really quite average'
I laughed at it when I first saw it because it is funny, but when I looked deeper into it I realized, it is the perfect attitude to have, firstly because it counters a rejection perfectly, an example of this would be in Casino Royale, the first time Bond attempts to pick up the girl outside the hotel she rejects him.
*Bond attempts to pick up married woman
'Can I give you a lift home'
'That would really send him over the edge I'm afraid I'm not that cruel'
'Or perhaps you're just out of practice'
'Ok, One drink!'
See what I mean, he got rejected at the beginning, but via his playfulness turned it around.
It is perfect because it embodies aspects that RP already talks about such as Abundance mentality, IDGAF attitude and Confidence, meaning when you are being playful with a woman, she is going to see this in you.
For that added extra when being playful is having a cheeky smile, it is hard to explain it but it just helps sell the playfulness aspect of your personality.
Abundance Mentality
Possibly one of the most important things to have in order to become Alpha is to have this mentality. I see on social media and via friends etc, what happens when people don't have this abundance mentality.
One of my friends a few years ago was engaged to this woman that wasn't attractive at all and constantly made him feel bad and was controlling. My friend and I had the exact same reaction when he told us about how she was controlling and would bitch at him all the time, we both said to each other when he wasn't there 'Why does he take it from her, I could understand if it was a 10/10 that maybe the hotness makes you dumb, but she isn't attractive at all and should be grateful he is with her' this is one of the truly shared RP moments I can say I've had.
Something else I see a lot of on social media, you will sometimes get a girl who will post a picture of a guy trying to chat her up in her DM's. The first thing I often notice is the guy will message, get no response, so will message again...and again....and again. This is what happens if you lack abundance and she will obviously see that you have no other options if you are repeatedly messaging her.
Personally when it comes to this I have a 2 message rule I set myself out of self-respect. I will message once, and sometimes only once, but if she responds and I message again and she doesn't respond, I message one more time and if no response after this then it's on to the next one.
The 2 text rule I only do based on, I know one message if she doesn't respond I am probably being ignored, but I allow her the benefit of the doubt and say well, perhaps, not likely but perhaps, she didn't get the message, forgot to respond etc, but at 2 messages the chances of any of these are 0 and you are being ignored. I don't get mad at it, there is no point, it isn't beneficial, I simply just have a little moment to myself where I think, well she missed out, NEXT.
There are millions of women out there why would I care if one doesn't want me or want to speak to me, that's crazy. Abundance mentality is freeing once you embrace it, with women and with most things in life.
I am aware this is a long post, but this is thoughts and experiences i've had over the past few years so I will finish with once last thing
Assholes and Nice Guys
Most of us on here will have been Nice guys at one point in our lives and are here because we realize it doesn't work. I want to explain why women prefer Assholes and why they only make orbiters out of nice guys.
The more I think of it, when I think of Assholes and Nice guys and what makes them different is attitude. Everyone on here will at some point in their life have had that one girl they had a crush on and she dated asshole after asshole while you remained invisible to her, all the while you wondered why doesn't she like me when I am being nice to her. I've had those thoughts too and went through that period in my life so I understand.
Let me explain why she likes the asshole and not the nice guy. Asshole guys all have one thing in common, they always have high confidence, this alone is attractive to a girl, couple that with other traits of an asshole guy - Dominance, IDGAF attitude, abundance mentality and it becomes clear why she is attracted. This then leads to the thought that maybe you have had it wrong all along. Sure when a guy thinks another guy is an asshole, chances are he probably is, but if a girl thinks a guy is an asshole, chances are she is likely attracted to him.
My example of this is the film Don Jon, already an RP film discussed on here many times but I want to bring your attention to one thing he said in the film. He is in a nightclub with his friends and this girl he hooked up with and never called back approaches him.
'You never called me back'
'Come on, you knew I was never gonna call you back'
'You're such an asshole Jon'
'Then why did you come home with me *turns his back on her'
All I have to say on nice guys is, watch this Kevin Hart clip when he talks about nice guys and yes men and how stupid it is to always agree with everything a woman says. I never realized how stupid nice guys must look to women before I saw this
