Rule number 1: Talk about them. A person's favorite subject is themself. Hold back until asked questions about you, unless you have a funny story on the same subject of what he's talking about.

Suggestions:

"Hey are you going to be here next week/tomorrow?"
"I'm going to be a place x on such-and-such. If you're not doing anything, stop by."
"It was nice bullshitting with you, hope to see ya around sometime"
If they work in the public sector, stop by. "Window shop"

Don't force it, or come off as too needy.

Generally you just don't need to game other guys. You actually can be yourself for the most part. It helps if you have a common reason to hang out in the first place. This is why joining a team or club of some kind is good for this.

I guess I'm in the minority now, but I find that I can actually get stimulating conversation from women. I actually find it easier now that I'm red pill, because I'm not caught up on trying to please them anymore. If I want to just be friendly with a woman, I'll do that, because I've decided.

I echo the sentiments to start with the gym. More importantly, USE THE LOCKER ROOM and things like the SAUNA and STEAM ROOM after your workout. This is really important if you are in a co-ed gym facility. Those are MAN spaces. Like others have said, just show up and try not to be weird for the first couple of weeks. Guys detect a regular after a few weeks and the conversations/connections will follow. Try not to talk politics and religion...talk sports, your workout, and women in general. Don't worry if the some of the guys might be a little older...a man in his 60s who is going to the gym to keep himself fit has some game/status/power.

The male only sports and majority male hobbies are great suggestions also.

Basically, find a good hobby, show up consistently, don't be weird and don't be too ostentatious. Eventually you'll get to know the guys, have manly conversations, and they'll respect the fact you keep showing up and trying.

Some examples include:

Hardcore powerlifting gym Hardcore MMA gym
Hardcore boxing gym
Amateur sports league. (Real sports like basketball, hockey, flag football, none of that hipster shit)

I dunno man, I never seem to have the same problem, I just speak my mind and my bros either hate me for it and /unfriend me or they don't hate me for it and things continue. You'd be surprised how many guys out there are already at least partly unplugged. Of course there will be assholes throwing a shit fit when they stare reality in the eyes, but hey, fuck em.

The biggest problem I had was the guilt I used to have pent up in me. I knew other people hated the fact that I bang chicks with no intention of devoting my life time earnings and sanity to them, but the truth of it all is. There is only one person you can look out for on this earth, and that's yourself. If more people were selfishly seeking out their own happiness, rather than trying to tell other people how to be happy, we'd have a much better world to live in.
