That brainwashed documentary done by the comedian in Norway is truly fantastic and should be checked out by everyone here. I have noticed some strange coincidences with this film and North American culture, specifically feminism and personality disorders. I have noticed one, that the personality disorders (other than extreme examples which no doubt would move into the realm of true mental illness) seem to be a lot of made up nonsense, similar to what is shown in the documentary. Blaming the parents for a lack of individualization, is that not removing individualization? More intriguing is how the vast majority of these supposedly therapy requiring personality disorders are really an attempt to keep people in line with the status quo. You literally have a personality disorder if you move outside the norms of society, ie a medically recognized issue if you disobey. The worst thing I have noticed is that a lot of what trp describes in the majority of women would fit remarkable well with personality disorders with a remarkable precision. Anyone who is familiar in psychology have you noticed this striking similarity.
