Don't pursue anything in life with the end goal of getting any girl because you'll set yourself up to allow women to make or break you and you'll be on an emotional roller coaster for the rest of your God given life.
Fortunately, there are a million other benefits to being in a STEM field so you didn't fuck up per se.
Adjust your priorities, obtain a more healthy mental outlook and perspective, and talk to other people. She's probably a 19-21 year old girl, she doesn't give a fuck you're a STEM major. If girls your age really cared about that then the nerdy Indians and Asians in your major would be swimming in pussy (Spoiler: They aren't).
