There isn't that one person who is my ultimate role model. I look for traits I find honorable and I try to implement that into my self.

So I guess I'm trying to become my own role model. I'm on the right track to become a narcissist I guess.

Im probably in the minority that thinks that fictional role models are the way to go.

Real people are just too fallible.

My role model is John Galt. John Galt is an ideology. He is the paradigm of individualism and the glory of the human spirit. He has no weakness. He doest need any weakness. Thats who I look up to.

Leading is done through example. Following is done by simply doing the same. You must learn to do as you want to do. Find how others do it, and implement it. If it works for them it can probably work for you if you do it right.

People are surprisingly ready to teach you what it is they know and love if you just ask.

Honestly man, pick someone real. You can learn from celebrities and fictional characters but you will never be able to relate to them directly because the situations they are in are so far removed from yours. With someone real and somewhat similar to you, you can relate to them easily and really get to know how they think by asking questions and seeing them function in situations that you actually find yourself in.
