Certain people in the PUA community say that one way to be/show that you are confident and get good quality girls is to be vulnerable. How exactly does this work.

All my experience so far (not much) has led me to believe that women are some of the cruelest creatures on earth who do not have sympathy for others. How does being vulnerable actually help get girls. In my experience it just has repelled them.

Maybe i'm just seeing vulnerability wrong or it only works if you are already tall, dark and handsome.

Recently i was talking to a girl in a state i was moving to. Things were going well. I just wanted to friendzone her because I didn't know anyone else in that state and i'm currently dealing with a lot of shit. I've always been blue pill, always thinking women "CARED" and funny enough a lot of her posts on here made it seem she was just a caring, helpful individual. Of course in true fashion after opening up about how stressed i was about the move, and how depressed i've gotten since getting here she cut contact. She asked for my facebook to chat and never bothered to respond after. I tried to burn it to the ground but i knew that it was a lost cause.

So can someone please help me understand if vulnerability actually applies to the red pill lifestyle. What is the correct way and incorrect way to show vulnerability. Does it work for everyone or just some? WHen should i NOT OPEN UP... seems like even in platonic situations showing emotions gets you nowhere.
