"As a woman who was abused as a child, then has been raped twice again by 2 different men in her adult life (One of the times being the exact situation I described above). Tons."

In reply to the question, "How many people do you seriously think are falsely claiming they were raped?"

"I have been to group therapy, about 1/3 of the women in my time there (3+ years) confessed that they had made up at least a large portion of their rapes if not the whole thing. I have also been in a large social group of women since high school, and since then I can list off at least 5 men who have been accused by different women, who confessed to lying about it to gain custody of their child, not look like a whore, ect. My favorite are women who have a night of sex with a recent ex and regret it, then think she and I have something in common in being victims. They even compare it to the scars that cover my body from years of abuse from my parents. Sorry to burst your bubble, but this has become a regular social stigma in young women (Playing the rape card), and it makes life a nightmare for real victims, who are dealing with PTSD, and live in constant fear of abuse. Police refused to prosecute my case because I had no evidence and I would be seen as "A young desperate girl playing the rape card to avoid being called a whore".

The ridiculous part is that this rape victim is actually arguing the point that the police need to prosecute all rape allegations even without evidence, but offers no solution to the problems she just mentioned. I feel for her as she is an actual rape victim and it is a truly terrible thing but she completely misses the point that she herself makes.
