Here's what's hilarious: These comments represent the collective of betas social idendity, where they know the truth but can't fully commit to it so they hyperbolize or turn things into a joke to make it more palatable.
Every show, every movie, every piece of media the brainwashed masses consume has an alpha male standing in contrast to betas. Two and a Half Men was wildly popular by putting an Alpha/Beta in the same house and watching people cheer on the Alpha despite his flaws and cringe and boo the beta despite his so called "good qualities".
Blue Pillers know the truth inherently, the male hamster just won't let them admit that they're living the wrong life.

Blue Pillers know the truth inherently
Its only clear to us because we can see it through hindsight. I think for RedPillers we have to pass through an event and moment of realization. Most of the general population just never get this far.

Even when we were blue pillers we knew the truth. We knew why we weren't getting laid, why we weren't happy, why other guys succeeded around us, we just
A.Rationalized it into something like "we're not rich", or, for me, "if only I was white".
B.Refused to accept it because it was scary and meant we had been living our lives the wrong way.

That's true for some, not for others.
There are some blue pill, beta, nice guy, wimpy-dinks out there who went out, were a nice guy to girls, eventually ended up with a girlfriend, eventually got lucky once or twice, eventually married a woman who walks all over them and probably cheats behind their back, and they're "happy." They really, honest to goodness, don't know.
They went out, they were nice guys, they followed the "just be yourself" line of thinking, and they ended up with a girlfriend and a wife, which is, of course, the entire goal of existence.
They honestly believe The Red Pill is just a bunch of lonely internet virgins in their mom's basement who are stupid and can't get any because they're not as awesome. They didn't need to change their perception on women. They didn't need to learn game. They didn't need to work out or better themselves, or become worth a shit. They just went out there and ended up with a woman. They won't get it until they find their woman cheating with a guy like you. And some need that to happen a few times before they get it.

"They went out, they were nice guys, they followed the "just be yourself" line of thinking, and they ended up with a girlfriend and a wife, which is, of course, the entire goal of existence."
No, no it's not. The goal of existence is to keep your genetic line going and improving as far and wide as possible for the sake of ultimate progress.
The act of pairing up and marrying was pushed heavily by the church to generate money, an early preventative to female hypergamy and over population, and most recently the De Beers company to convince you that diamonds are valuable.
Human beings in nature are not monogamous, it's one of the single greatest acts of social conditioning in the history of civilization.

There. Fixed it. Sorry for the unclarity.
But the general point stands - it's really not accurate to say that all, or even most, beta, blue-pill guys knew the truth but just didn't want to accept it. Some guys really don't know. Because they ended up with a woman, and that's all that matters to them.
[–]TheeRyanGrey 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Unless you're some omega level troll, you're going to end up with a woman through a combination of resources, settling, luck. Mostly settling.
But it's the guys who realize "holy shit, I'm not happy settling and/or not getting what I want"

Honestly I was just an idiot. I got laid but it was a lot of hard work and usually when I was drunk. The most common response I used to get was "I thought you were gay" referring to my non aggressive "gentlemanly" approach.
I was a fucking idiot. I would run away at the first sign of a shit test. Once I read what a shit test was then that eureka moment hit!
Last Saturday I said hi to a girl and her friend. She responded in an aggressive manner "we are lesbians". I said "All women are lesbians, whats your name" ....etc
[–]TheeRyanGrey 2 points3 points4 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
Once you lose the fear of rejection and stop caring about how women respond to things, you start to notice how afraid women are of your rejection and how much they care about what you say.
[–]risqys[S] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Yes they are basically narcissistic and conformist so rejection hits them much harder.

I do not necessarily feel this to be true. I've had some beta moments in life, who doesn't? Yet I have been raised to be the man that I am. I didn't have to go through a vicious breakup, get put on child support, or generally get done super-dirty by a woman to understand that there are gender differences and to see that the media feeds feminism down peoples throats to their detriment.
Hell, as a child my parents hardly ever let me watch bullshit programming on TV, or those Disney princess movies, (though, they did take me to see Fantasia for the music and artistry), and I have been surrounded by what would be considered "manly-men" my whole life. (Dad, Stepdad, two grandads, eight uncles, all Veterans.)
They all taught me and encouraged me in my masculinity. So not everyone who has taken the pill has had a bitter pill from past mistakes. I'm here because it's good to find 20K+ dudes with whom I share a commonality of thought, which, IRL, is becoming increasingly harder as each day passes.
Dont get me wrong, I have had some frustrating dealings in life and with the opposite sex, but I made and continue to make the best of them, and not sit in a miasma, blind to the path to victory, nor do I sit stuck in a mire, unable to step past my own failures. The Red Pill is about reality, and facing it head-on.

the video is funny, but girls will be girls. I'm more concerned with how pathetic the commenters are...it's amazing how much people just dont "get it." check this one out:
Unless you're a stunningly attractive guy - like turning heads level - any time you approach a girl at a bar you're assumed to be creepy. It's a presumption that the guy has the burden to disprove by acting just the right amount of disinterested. For twenty-somethings still active in the bar scene it's just the pretty obvious nature of things. I don't let it worry me too much, but that doesn't mean it isn't annoying and exhausting at times to have to be constantly worried about being branded "creepy" for approaching a girl. Especially in a relatively small town where you know you're going to be seeing the same people the next weekend.

THIS right here. This is what's wrong with men in our world. Pure solipsism. He assumes that women have the same attraction triggers as men (i.e. visual). WRONG. so wrong. women are just tired of pussy beta guys. these guys make life so hard on themselves, they try so so so hard when it's so fucking easy. read up on red pill tendencies, stop trying not to be creepy and instead qualify her to see if she is creepy. the comment section is full of woah-is-me, beta commenters who dont realize how lucky they are...women are pretty much stuck with their SMV, men can be ugly as fuck and really improve their SMV. if men as a whole only understood their SMV potential, women would have no power. someone needs to start a campaign to teach boys from day 1 to love themselves

If you want a laugh.....
I mentioned my "beta buddy" in a previous post. Good looking guy, friendly, smart, 40-something, 100% white knight. He told me (proudly, for fuck's sake!) that he was at this bar. There's a 20-something girl wandering around looking lost so he talks to her. She is drunk and has no ride home cause her friend flaked out on her. She is "scared" because she went in the bar and says all the men there just stared at her tits. Friend buys her a drink which she downs happily. He tells her he won't try anything and offers her a ride home. Another friend of hers shows up to get her but she tells him he's "the sweetest", cheek kiss, and says she is bringing all of her girlfriends back to the place next weekend and they will LET HIM buy them ALL drinks.
He brags about this and thinks he is a great guy because a pretty young woman talked to him.
FLASH QUIZ - Is he right, or did he massively convey that he was a "safe" nice guy, sex-free, and a dude who would be happy to be a doormat to this girl and all her friends? For nothing, she got a free drink off him and the offer of a ride halfway across town, for nothing, and now he thinks he's lucky to be given the chance to pay for her and her she-pack's drinking and entertainment next weekend.
Don't be a white knight.

if a girl calls you "sweet" you're fucked
[–]anotherthrowawaybiff 3 points4 points5 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
This is one of those one liners that should be graven in stone on the TRP commandments.
[–]roue_ 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
THIS. Once a girl says "oh you're so sweet" it's fucking over. I thought going out of my way to be 'nice' to this girl would get wet and make her want me. When I first met her at a summer fair and water got spilled over her I walked all the way over to the toilet to get her some tissues without her even asking. Then started asking her if she was ok and trying to be 'considerate'. Fast forward a few days later she sends me the dreaded "I don't see you a a boyfriend but we can still hang out as friends sometime".
This is one of the catalyst to my decision of taking the red pill. Just the cringyness of my old way makes me beat my chest in shame.Shame.

Well, as a late 40's guy, I wouldn't be interested in sex with a 22 year old girl anyway, too close to kiddie porn for me. I just look at the situation without defaulting to white knight mode. She acted "helpless" and he "rescued" her. In what possible way was she helpless? So her friend didn't pick her up to drive her home. She needs better friends. But she has to have a phone, I've never seen anyone under 30 without one in their hand constantly. Does she have NO other friends she can call? Even if so, she can call a cab and be out of there quick. "But I don't have the money" = She's probably got 15 credit cards. Also I would not buy a drink for an already drunk girl, Jesus.. I'd have just said, "Here, sit at the bar, nobody's going to body-tackle you and rape you right there, and call a cab. If you're too drunk to use your phone, I'll tap the number in for you."
TLDR - Control the situation and help get her out of trouble but don't be so nice about it that she thinks you're sweet, and for god's sake don't buy her anything.

[–]redpill80 19 points20 points21 points 12 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link
yes but it's no coincidence that there are so many betas in our society. we dont teach men how to love themselves, we teach women how to love themselves and we put men down for their natural instincts
[–]Mr_Bell 11 points12 points13 points 12 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link
I agree with you. On the other hand, society also doesn't teach you how to change a flat tire, how to light up a fire, how to be successful in your career or how to shift gears if you aren't. Men learn this things by themselves, with their mistakes. No-one picks up a man from the ashes when he's burned down. He must rise on his own.
I also think about getting as many guys I know into TRP from time to time. But then I realize there's no point. They are somewhat satisfied with things the way they are. If they weren't, they'd have come already.
[–]redpill80 40 points41 points42 points 12 years ago* (2 children) | Copy Link
Here's where The Matrix analogy comes full circle. I, like Neo, always felt like something was wrong. I couldn't put my finger on it. I tried the fraternity thing, getting drunk, hooking up with girls in college. Joining a few cool groups, doing IM sports. That's suppose to be the life, right? It was fun but it was never satisfactory. Then, I watched my friends do the law school path and follow the program to a tee, I was told to follow the path of being a good little hard worker, but it never felt right. Everyone else smiled and even though it felt unnatural I tried even harder to be just like them.
Then I got cancer. And in the years I watched the world go on without me, I learned the truth. No one gives a shit if you are a man and things fall apart. You need to pick yourself up. And as I did, I learned amazing, valuable skills and the world opened up to me. I realized I had been doing the whole thing wrong. I was designed not to be a follower but to invent great things. To take risks, to explore the world without a safety net, to say fuck it in the face of certain danger and to conquer the world. To be the person who took the 1 in a million shot and made it. To achieve mastery.
Go watch Limitless. That's what we're designed to be as men...intelligent, creative, passionate, narcissistic, Machivellian, driven by the pursuit of taming the world and exploring beyond. For a red pill man, read 48 Laws of Power or Mastery, they will feel like your personal manifesto.

I saw limitless when I was BP (back in 2011) I'm gonna rewatch it with a RP lense and see how I interpret the movie now.

Been through the same process, although with a far less life-threatening trigger. Just started a company that went bankrupt and still have debt to pay.

Yeah, my father taught me those things. But, you know, she don't need no man to raise a child.
[–]MockingDead 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
But don't they? Look at that Alpha. he didn't ask, he just offered. He was taller, more fit, and better dressed.
So yeah, good looking men can more easily pick up women. That's one of the reasons that working out is part of a successful sexual strategy.
[–]gohammer3 4 points5 points6 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
Dude you guys are delusional as fuck if you think looks don't matter to women. I thought the redpill was about seeking the truth, the truth is having a handsome face is important to women because it shows them that you have good genes. A lot of you legitimately believe muscle outweighs facial aesthetics which is simply not the case.
[–]redpill80 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
I said women had different attraction triggers than men, not that looks don't matter. Attraction is extremely important to women, hence why they hate betas. but looks are just part of the equation. For men, attraction triggers are mostly based on visual cues
[–]risqys[S] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link
I say let the Betas be Betas. More pussy for us ;-)
Seriously though I have many friends who have no clue and Ive tried showing them the errors of their ways but its just no use. Betas just find ways to be content!
[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points0 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
It's not the betas I feel sorry for (pity is more accurate). It's often the poor, confused women, having to play a role they aren't designed for. I've been out with a lot of girls for whom I'm the only man who ever treated them like this. I didn't stay with them, but they were still good women, and deserve better than some pathetic beta sap.

Saw this via an MGTOW group's post.. the point is right on reguardless.
It's a crazy world. You have to be in the top 20% of men to be considered attractive (source: oktrends.com, posted here long ago). Have to have game and all the right answers to shit tests, among other things. It's a tough choice for me whether to go mainline RP or MGTOW, but it doesn't hurt to work out, read up, and make money etc. in the meanwhile.

Don't fall into the trap of assuming women value the same things we do. Desire inspired by high status men is just as genuine as desire inspired by one's appearance. You're kidding yourself if you believe women would rather fuck a handsome loser than a hotshot banker.
[–]roue_ 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link
There is quite clearly a difference. Having sex with women just because they are attracted the how much money you spend on them negatively portrays you as a lowly individual. Sure you might make half a million yearly but no one values you. They value your money. On the other hand a man who pulls women using hes persona and looks will be better than you in every way.
[–]thro_way 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link
Having money != spending money on women.
I can't understand how you think being born with a certain facial structure is more deserving of respect than building a business, or fighting your way to the top of the corporate pyramid. You are one of very few people who would describe Jay-Z, Larry Ellison, or Richard Branson as "lowly individuals".

Optimistic Perspective: He finally found his soul mate.
Cynical Perspective: After years of failure he finds a girl who is willing to accept his Beta-bux and marriage for sex.
