You have to constantly revisit this stuff and the readings in the sidebar. You want to keep this at the forefront until it becomes ingrained in your psyché.

Also stay hungry. Don't let a few girls giving you attention make you comfortable enough to revert back to your old ways.

Understand this is a lifestyle and not just a means to an end.

You're in college now so, take a minute to look back at your high school experience. The girls you chased after...would you still do the same years later with the same girls, now given the opportunity? The friends that you hung out with, who sometimes made you feel like shit...would you waste your time with them now or avoid them knowing that they aren’t helping you become a better person? Would you go back to high school and change your diet and workout habits knowing that by now you would be a lot fitter? Whether you like it or not...the way you look and how you feel right now is a direct result of your entire life up to this moment. In a few years, you won't associate yourself with the same people, that you do right now. You're going to move on with your life because YOU are the main character of your own life. Everything else that you encounter keeps you on your toes, but in order to improve, you need to learn to stay confident when facing adversity. Just understand that you came into this world alone, and you’re going to leave this world alone. All of this power to control yourself can be a lot to handle, but knowing that you are in direct control of your outcome if you put in the work, makes things easier to understand. Yes, people around you make life amazing and help you get through it, but time is precious and putting your precious time is the hands of others is risky.

A lot of times in life, we need change and we get it just not in the way many of us had hoped. Change may be scary but it's necessary. That's the thing with growth though, right? The most important transformations often occur when things shatter. Because that's when we rebuild. Embrace the uncertainty. Tell yourself that the fear of suffering is worse than suffering itself. Fear is a dick. Yeah, some experiences are going to rock you to your core, changing you and they are going to show you how resilient you can be when you have no choice but to get back up, dust yourself off and show up again and again. It might take time and things will be messy but it will always be okay in the end. Start being brave with your life. Great things happen so keep embracing the uncertainty. The people who come in and out of your life, sometimes rather recklessly, the missed opportunities and the doors slamming shut, the moments of synchronicity and the luck, all of it- it all matters. Keep going. Great things take time, so it’s not going to happen over night. But work through it. You can either look back on your college years and think wow I should’ve worked harder and focused on myself or you can be prepared for the real world when you graduate. Listen, I am in no way close to being an expert on what I am preaching, but I hope that this somewhat helped you on your journey to reaching your goals, good luck!

You have willpower but not discipline. That's still better than most people, but willpower is a finite resource.

You just need to stop acting how you feel and consciously plan out how you are going to act going forward. Feelings are temporary, they shouldn't control who you are or how you act.
