Since this is the Red Pill and we're discussing secret knowledge and stuff. Ima let you in on a little secret. The 16 personality types both Myers Briggs and 5 factor are derivative of the Gnostic Occult model.

A lot of psychology isnt strictly science it's Mysticism repackaged as science. So if that's like your thing or whatever, cool you do you bro but you might as well get it from the original unadulterated source.

In other words a guy whose high in openess to new experience and trait disagreeableness is the Knight of Wands or the Debater Myers Briggs personality type.

While I have greatly enjoyed Peterson, I wish he would integrate more metaphysics into his lectures. Aristotelian-Scholastic philosophy is the backbone of the West, and until we rediscover Aristotle and Aquinas (and to a lesser extent, modern Scholastics like Feser), we will continue to inhabit a hollow home.

This reminds me of when I was really into astrology, good times. What happens when I'm on the cusp of gemini and taurus? Ah, I see this version of astrology doesn't even pretend to predict someone's personalities, it fits the data to the curve.

Psychology is such a young science, boys. Calling it a science is really quite generous, considering it is impossible to isolate any variability of people's behaviors, so there are never any actual scientifically valid experiments and thus no real conclusions other than generalities with no predictive force. Psychology is the field of people molding worldviews into science shapes and then using the respect real scientists have earned through advancements they pass them off as actual theories. I challenge anyone to critically think about anything a psychologist has proposed and determine if that discovery has had real world positive effects. We've gone to the moon, cured diseases, made superior materials, but no real progress on the ailments of the mind. For every client a psychologist has helped, there's a dozen that have had fuck all for improvement. Psychology is just an amazing investigation of the power of placebos. They still think it's worth teaching how they trained a dog to drool when it hears a bell. Amazing.

Every. Single. Suggestion. On this list is derivative of advice given to young men for millenia by cultures around the world. You could cherry pick all of these from stocism, buddhism, epicureanism, christianity, etc. Sure is confusing when all the advice is generally good but the package is a shit sandwich. This is coming from the field that used to try hosing the gay off of people, prescribing adderall to normal young boys, dulling the lives of millions with anti-depressants that do nothing, and anti-anxiety meds putting you in a waking stupor.

Bring on the downvotes. Lord knows saying anything critical of anything to do with J.P. is a one-way ticket to downvote hell.
