INTRO

this is my first post here in over a year of constantly reading and discussing in this sub. I have swallowed the red pill since way before I had discovered this place, so I am familiar with a lot of theories discussed here. One topic I want to discuss is Respect. I read a lot of posts on asktrp about being offended and disrespected and not knowing what to do about it. I also have a lot of people message me when I comment about similar events that have occurred with me and how I dealt with it so I decided to make a post here in case people here are interested in this respect "game."

BODY

stop getting offended at little things: why would you take offense in something so little as an insult-joke a friend makes about you? I see a lot of posts regarding this. if you're with a group of friends and one of your friends "roasts" you, and everyone laughs, you shouldn't go home and make a post on asktrp about how to deal with being hugely disrespected. I have a group of friends that I hang out with almost daily, and one of my friends is always the butt of the joke. He is always getting criticized for being stupid and roasted for saying stupid things, but I don't think he is actually a stupid person. I laugh at him, and so does he. He doesn't take it personally and after the jokes we talk like friends and continue on being friends, because they are meaningless jokes and he knows.

when are you disrespected? it is very rare to be disrespected when you choose not to care about little things, but when something like a little joke turns into constant verbal attacks that come out of nowhere irrelevantly and has an impact on your social standing, that's when you take action. the difference between a little joke and a verbal jab is how you look at it and how you feel. We humans have emotions and when you take emotion out of your mind and think with logic instead, most disrespectful things become not so disrespectful. When something is disrespectful even after logical analyzation, then you will do these things to defend yourself and attack back.

  1. poker face when you have analyzed that the person who is insulting you is not doing so in a friendly jokingly manner, you will show no emotions in your face. Do not smile, even if they are smiling thinking what they said to you was funny. Look at them straight in the eyes and don't say a word, keep staring at them until they stop smiling and talking, then turn your head away while still looking at their eyes, then look away from their eyes and disregard their little unfunny insult. this little simple no effort action has a huge impact. You intimidate them with your stare, when your eyes lock, they feel nervous, lots of things are going in their mind, like "is he going to fight me?" "is he going to say something?" "what's his problem?". when you stare into them, make sure you are standing over them, even if they are taller then you, you stick your chest out and put your head up and look at them. It works trust me, especially with people who are socially low; not popular/alpha. I have done it multiple times to multiple people. Example: I have this friend who in public and social settings becomes a totally different person than he is when he is just with me. That is not a good thing. I am not referring to having different opinions on controversial things in public vs social, I am talking about the way he acts, he tries very hard to be "alpha" in social settings and that results him to trying to insult everyone around him to be dominant, even me. But it never works with me and it is hilarious. He tries to be funny and criticize me in an insulting manner when around a group of friends, and I just look at him in the eyes for about 5 long seconds with a poker face, then I look away and continue on doing what I was doing before. This impacts him because he shuts up and everyone notices it, and he doesn't try it again. This has happened quite a number of times and he still tries to be "alpha" in social settings so it's no use to try and teach him something.

  2. attack back While dead staring works well, you can't always do that, especially when you've done it to the same person. what you do is attack them, constantly. They insult you once, you insult them 10 times and they get hurt, and you smirk at them. This is like someone punching you in the face, and you tackling and pummeling their face, but verbally. You can take it to actual fighting, only when they physically start it, but that's not that common nowadays in most places. How to insult them: lots of people are insecure about themselves, and the most common insecurities people have are their body weight, height, physical appearance, the pitch of their voice, the way they laugh, their lack of physical strength (you obviously should be lifting if you're reading this or if you're on trp to begin with). make fun of those common insecurities. When they say some stupid insult directed at you and laugh, tell them they laugh like a little hyena, they will stop laughing almost immediately. If the person who insults you is a lifter, insult their lack of strength and their excess amount of body fat. play around with their insecurities and you will make them more insecure. Your attacks should be good, so practice them. Look at roast videos or look how donald trump insults people. Give someone a nickname if they are trying to disrespect you and attack your frame. I have learned through experience, on of my good friends is a master at verbal communication, he will punk you without fighting you, and that is also a skill to learn. If you think verbal "fights" are childish, I agree with you, but in 2016 America if you knock someone out for making fun of you, you're probably going to get arrested unfortunately.

  3. mind games This is the most important type of disrespect-defense, it's similar to the first type but on a large scale. When you ignore someone's jab, it hurts their ego for a minute, but when you completely disregard that person as a whole, it confuses their mind. now you're thinking that ignoring someone as a whole is believing they don't exist when they're in the same room. for example you walk into your gym and the person who you think disrespected you is there, and you act like he isn't, this is not what I am talking about. Doing this correctly will result in that person not only from stopping the disrespect towards you but also sucking up to you. I'll show you an incorrect example of this first so you know what not to do.

    1. Do not completely ignore somebody that has disrespected you, because that makes you look like a little bitch. Women do this to their female friends, so that is enough reason why you shouldn't do it.
    2. Do not be friendly with someone one day, and then the next day, completely acting different. Again women do this so don't. being nice one day and not nice the next day is not playing mind games with someone, it is being an emotional woman and you are not a woman so If someone disrespects you on a monday, and on tuesday you are completely cutting that person off, they notice it very well and they win. How to do this correctly: the key word is initiation. If someone disrespects you on a friday, and then you see that person on a tuesday, don't completely cut him off, but you also shouldn't go up to them and greet them, let them come to you. let them initiate the greet, the "what's up" "hey man" or the handshake. Initiating the handshake is a confusing topic, sometimes you should initiate and sometimes you should let someone lower than you initiate it. There is a constant social game being played and people always are looking around to see who is lower than who, and you gotta do whatever it takes to be the highest man in the room, aka the alpha. let the person who disrespected you to come up to you, this will take days or weeks or hours, depending on the person. Don't ignore them when they speak to you, but show no interest at the things they say. act like you're busy when they talk to you, they notice your different behavior so they try to initiate a conversation, and thats when you cooperate in the conversation, but you are the controller of the conversation since he's the one initiating it and you're the one ending it with a disregard to what he has to say. For example: After a friend disrespected me, lets call him "steve", I stopped initiating conversation, I walked past him without saying anything and he noticed. I wasn't being a little bitch however, I gave him a nod, but never went to initiate a handshake like a peasant. then after a week he came up to me telling me funny stories trying to make me laugh, and I would just smirk a little and continue on doing what I was doing. Couple of days later in a group setting my other friend tried to throw a jab at me (same friend who is the butt of all jokes), but Steve, defended me and insulted him. I noticed that what I was doing was working. Then one day when all the other friends were gone, steve asked me what was wrong, I said nothing with a neutral expression on my face and it all seemed cool. So I asked him what was wrong with him and why he'd been acting weird. I flipped the script on him, now he felt like he was the one who was acting different. After that, he continued to initiate the conversation/handshake and would always try to interest me with stories and funny things that happen; sucking up to me (I am on a higher level than he is now). He would always say "what's up" first and he never disrespected me again.

LESSONS LEARNED - don't get offended at little things (asktrp guys here.) - show no emotions at something you don't find funny. - let them come up to you, thus subliminally stating to them that you are socially higher. - practice communication; verbal attacks, insult defense. - learn how to spot people's insecurities, so at any moment you can use their insecurities against them, giving you the upper hand at playing mind games. - LIFT, I don't have to tell you this if you're on the red pill. After I got bigger, the amount of people disrespecting me had decreased by like 90%, I AM NOT EXAGGERATING. If you are buff, not only will you get pussy, but men will show respect for you, even strangers; they will nod when you pass them by, people will move out of your way on a street or a hallway. Lifting will do nothing but benefit you, so start if you haven't already. also, the "poker face reaction" will probably not work if you're a twig, or a dadbod.

CONCLUSION I know this post had a lot to do with being disrespected by friends and not strangers well because who the fuck cares what a random asshole has to say about you verbally. When a stranger disrespects you verbally at a party or a group setting, you do the poker face reaction and it will work, add in a verbal attack at their insecurities while you're at it and you'll make people laugh and he will shut up. If a stranger disrespects you physically, the poker face reaction won't work if you won't knock them out after giving one. I know that you can get arrested for physically assaulting somebody, but sometimes you have to do that when some random gronk disrespects you, plus you should be able to take someone out, you have been lifting and you should know how to fight; take a class or if you're a student, become a wrestler at your college/high school, you will learn enough to fuck someone up.
