As much as I detest turning the untimely death of one of my favourite actors and comedians into a learning experience, perhaps this has enabled me to see that the altruism, trust, generosity and overall selflessness I have been using to make myself 'feel better' in my own struggle with depression are a fruitless cause.

I have generally noticed this for a while, the getting little to nothing in return bit, but I think this just shattered whatever fence I was sitting on in terms of my behaviour.

The couple split in 2008. Robin once said of the break-ups: “Divorce is expensive. I used to joke they were going to call it ‘all the money,’ but changed it to ‘alimony’.

I am feeling so angry right now after reading this and I know I shouldn't. But the fact this has happened to one of my favorite actors alltime just makes it even worse.

Genuinely feel sorry for the man.. People who strike sudden fame and fortune are in a positively skewed feedback loop.. They don't recognize that their fame and fortune could diminish if mismanaged. Since they have not learnt how to get on by with next to nothing, it could lead to a dangerous life-ending scenario as is this case.

This is where RP can help those with a sudden rise in wealth and potentially save a life or even a family years of heart-ache.

Considering he did an AMA, a few lessons Robin could have learnt if he came to TRP:

-Don't put women on the pedestal. You have no fucking reason to. You are the star of your own movie. You are the prize, not the nanny..

-Don't give away your wealth or sacrifice yourself so freely. No-one appreciates a beta bucks.

-Don't seek validation from external sources, including from your women. Quietly reflect on your illustrious career and realize what you have accomplished will forever be written in history. That should have been enough validation for your existence.

RIP old man.. Life must have been pure living torture for a 63 year old accomplished man to want to neck himself.

Bah, all the propaganda on how he should have stayed alive was just so they could cynically milk more tax dollars and revenue out him with a gajillion Mrs. Doubtfire sequels.

That's really what the religious and other types of thoughform prohibition on suicide amounts to: stay alive so we can suck more energy out of you.

Not that I'm pro-suicide, but let's just say I'm pro-choice. If someone else really wants to kill themselves, they shouldn't be posthumously shamed for it. After all, if people really wanted other people to stay alive, they'd be kinder to them, instead of constantly jackbooting them to the face.

EDIT: Robin Williams was a great artist and a talented comedian. No man deserves to be taken to the cleaners just to satisfy some woman's personal vendetta. Robin did not deserve to go this way.

Society failed Robin. This was a guy who could have spun 10 semi serious plates his entire life and never had to think about losing his money ever again, while receiving the loving of a god all the way until he died from a heart attack on his 110th birthday. He was getting head backstage at a stand up comedy night for a retirement home.

I hate that his career would have dried up had he taken on 2-10 women at once. He fucking deserved to have that much attention, but no, marriage has to exist and he has to get tricked time after time into giving away his money to greedy bitches that don't deserve it.
