General career advice, yes.

Hiring specific people from this subreddit, no. What a bad idea. I would never expose my affiliation with this place to a colleague or to my employer. (See jian ghomeshi).

That said, in real life you can pretty easily tell what a man is about and what he has to offer. I mean, that's the whole premise of TRP- that people see what you project...

I was close to getting a management job in Barcelona which would entail hiring a good 10 paid interns for the upcoming summer. I was going to make sure to hire just a few terpers to get them a foot in the door of the tech industry, simply because I think everyone is trainable for just about any non-STEM related job (marketing, sales, development, leadership. All that shit is trainable) but ended up not accepting the job for a more financially promising gig (It was a very hard decision... Money or Lifestyle?)

This is another thing different for men and women in our modern world. Women get to ride the carousel, cuckold men, divorce rape their husbands overtly and they get applauded as empowered and brave. Men, TRP men especially has to execute in a more covert manner. Or they face dire consequences.

If you are so brave and you can expose yourself (it's not against to rules if you give out your own personal info AFAIK) but don't encourage others to do so.

Since you are asking for general hiring/networking/job searching I can add some color.

I am a mid level (VP, not MD) salesman for an investment bank. One of the banks the public loooves to hate. I am very active in recruiting for the bank at my alma matter (large Eastern school). Recently I interviewed a dozen candidates for a summer job that is the gateway to a full time offer. The level of competition is insane. There are some RP qualities that are very helpful when you want to standout in this process.

I had to say no to approximately 2/3 of these candidates. All had great GPA and extracurricular activities. There was no way to separate these kids by their body of work and GPA.

So what do we look for?

Confidence- Need to know that anyone I recommend to go further in the process can stand up to pressure. Some light questioning on choices they made to see if I can shake them. Ask them to solve a tricky math problem to see how they respond etc. The ones who look at floor or as for a minute to think are not ready... even if they have a 4.0

Leadership- I look for things like captain of sports team or officer of a club etc. Most leaders tend to be good at LEARNING and LISTENING when they start something new.

Ability to acknowledge mistakes and communicate lessons learned. I like to hear someone admit to these sorts of things rather than hide them and "be perfect". Its even better when they tell me what they learned from it. One kid told me the best thing that ever happened to him was an "A-" in his sophomore year... losing the 4.0 took all the pressure off and he could relax and enjoy his education. The kid actually realized that THE PURSUIT of perfection is BETTER than perfection. That is RP.

Smile--- Dont take yourself or the "dream job" too serious. Sound like putting her on a pedestal anyone?

Most important to me.... Ask me for the job. If you want something... fucking ask for it. Just be sure to tell me why you want it and why you feel you would succeed at it.

I think very closely monitored threads, and highly discreet in person interviews not on corporate grounds could lead to a great first interview. Through this "interview", references are formed. Through references from the interviewing party, the actual on-site interview can be swayed in his favor.

Be careful with this.

Edit: I'd also like to mention that I can expand very heavily on this to the interested reader. In fact, this is almost exactly how I got most of my consulting opportunities in the past. I need to stress the importance is being careful, because upon expansion of this idea, the very real dangers in doing something like this are revealed. Forget about "doxxed", think "blacklisted" in your field.

This is profitable if you think big, but those involved must be either blissfully unaware or willing and able to live up to the requirements.

What you're looking for are consultants.

Studying engineering for a career in tech. Started college a lot later than most. Went to a careers fair, you can imagine the type of people on the stands, I'm just worried about getting the starting job and career kickstarted, I couldn't give a fuck if they are throwing money out just to hire 90% of the women that apply. Despite 10% of people graduating being female. There's only so much beta nerd a project manager can tolerate I guess.

Women reegularly beat men academically. We can whinge and cry about stuff we already know but I'm just worried how I can apply this to my career.

Speaking to women at careers events has been a lot more positive than speaking to the men. Red Pill field day. Hope my boss is female.
