That is because women treat men like emotional tampons.

I'll have the balls to be contrarian and say that yes, women do love men and quite strongly. However, with all female emotions, they can change their minds at the drop of a dime.

The way the brain works is that we feel emotions through chemical reactions and then our rational brains interpret those emotions. So a woman will lose that tingly feeling in her gut and that come up with a rationalization of why she lost that "magic" feeling.

This is when women will start nitpicking all the most petty insignificant bullshit and then wonder why latter any of that bugged her in the first place. Whats shes really doing is looking for an excuse to explain what her gut is telling her.

This is the real reason you should never idolize your women. Because no matter how deeply she loves you (and she'll believe it 100%) she can lose it shockingly fast and she herself won't know why its gone.

Then again, sometimes shes just a whore. However, your never going to know which it is and it doesn't matter. Dump her ass and move on.

Yeah, we do. Especially if we commit to her and see her as worthy. It fucks us up, society fucks us up, the law fucks us up ...... but men often deeply care about women. Getting partially free of this is important, but the reality is still there.

We are designed to care about creatures that may be carrying or nurturing our offspring. Men are disposable in a way women are not. Our feelings reflect this. Men DO care about women.

This is the real RP a lot of men need to swallow on this sub. So many guys are still all high and mighty and think their 'love' (lust) is valuable and women should respect them for it. Your pretty oneitis that you did 'everything' for and she still fucked Chad. What really made you any different to some creepy dude messaging her online offering to pay for her to move across the country etc. Realise your 'love' for her is shallow and vain. As OP says if her looks fade thats it - the feelings end.

And that's half the problem. Because often her looks don't fade as fast as you'd like. She can treat you like shit and you as a shallow human being will likely still be totally infatuated by her (oneitis). It happens to women as well who fall for high status 'fuck bois'.

Womens 'love' based on more, status, money etc. Accept it and embrace it. It may be shallow but I will never deny the feelings aren't 'real' and aren't something that can be enjoyed. Learning to understand how to cultivate them and maintain them is the benefit of TRP.

And also being a rich and high status man is awesome for reasons aside from getting laid and having women fawn over you. So you know... Try and aim to have that life regardless.

Love is just a word. It means many things to many people. If you don't think Love exists between a man and a woman it merely states that you're still defining Love in some romanticized context. The ancient Greeks at least had four different definitions of Love, which is a much better model. Less confusing. OP has simply placed his faith in a context created by someone else and defined Love in a goofy way. So called Atheists do the same thing with the word God, defining God in the exact same way as their nemesis, making them bastard sons of the same church they profess to oppose.
