We all know what too much validation does to women. However, is it also poisonous to us men?

I've seen it turn friends into people that also crave it like a drug then create superiority complexes because they are receiving too much of it.

When I go round my more masculine friends to watch a game. There's no real validation going on, everything is factual or ironic. We don't validate each other, we just watch the game and talk about that or factual things.

When I'm out with some of my other more feminised friends they always try to bring up gossip into the equation and say things which will create a reaction out of me in the hope I will turn against the person we are talking about. I have to prep myself against this tactic as it can be quite powerful, they'll say something completely batshit insane what they said and it's hard not to forget that they are being the manipulative ones here. They also seem to crave validation much more. In the past, I didn't really think that it would do any harm to try to build up their confidence with a few compliments here and there but it just seems like it only feeds their ego and not whatever it is they are missing.
