It pains me that it's become necessary to post this but it seems this sub has been overrun by a particularly insidious delusion lately so for the good of humanity, I write my first post.

The truth is, while height and good looks do get women initially interested in you, enough so that they will give you more time to make your case or even to the point of them approaching you and introducing themselves, if your behavior is not then congruent with the assumptions they make about you because of your height and good looks, their pussies will dry up faster than you can say cucumber and they'll move along. Your height and good looks are an advantage initially, yes. But only initially.

Conversely, if you're ugly, women will make automatic negative assumptions about you, they'll give you less time to make your case generally and they'll probably never approach you and introduce themselves, but if you're able to get their attention for just long enough to prove those assumptions wrong, and to demonstrate high status through your body language, tone of voice, and conversational mastery, your bad looks can just as easily melt away and real, sexual, Chad-like attraction can be generated in the blink of an eye. Yes, even with super models.

I know some of you younger dudes will never believe this but it's true. I've seen it just way too many times to deny it. If you haven't seen a super good looking guy who sucks with women and thus, despite getting tons of initial attention and interest, can't ever seem to close, then you haven't been on this earth very long.

And if you haven't seen a neckbeard man-troll who just dominates with women constantly, despite being discounted initially by virtually everyone he sees, then again...you haven't been on this earth very long.

Alpha is not found in the size of your muscles, the clarity of your skin, the length of your cock, the height of your skeleton, or the vastness of your financial portfolio. Alpha is a mental state that comes from positive feedback received over time from a set of behaviors which invite that feedback.

Actually I'm not really sure what comes first: the mindset or the behaviors, but I don't think it matters. The mindset will result in the behaviors and the behaviors will result in the mindset. It's like feeling good and smiling.

Now, for those of you CONVINCED of your inferiority because of your height, your muscles, your money or education or whatever...sure. Go to the gym and lift. Work on your posture. Get plastic surgery. Choose a sexy career path. Do whatever. It's cool.

But confidence with people and solid success with women is not derived from any of those things--the initial boost they can give you notwithstanding.

Your problem is not that you're not tall enough, it's that you believe you're not tall enough and believe that should matter and that comes out in your speech and behavior. Your problem is not that you're not handsome enough, it's that you believe you're not handsome enough and believe that should matter and that comes out in your speech and behavior.

So how do you really get real confidence? Simple. Just learn to walk and talk like confident people walk and talk. Learn what they do and don't do and then go and do likewise. When you get there, there's nothing you can't accomplish socially.

When you walk like that, carry yourself like that, ask questions like that, respond like that, everything socially will become easy to you and you'll magically stop worrying about your musculature or your height or what clothes you happen to be wearing or what car you drove up in or any of that external stuff, because you'll see that whether you're skinny or fat or ripped or rich or poor or black or white or WHATEVER...people like and respect you. They can't help it because your speech and behavior commands respect and admiration.

Sure, the rich guy, the male model, the famous actor, the lead singer, the pro athlete, the famous politician, when he comes into the room he's gonna command immediate attention, and women will flock to him. Those are very strong frames. But every frame can be broken, and if the words and behaviors that even those men use do not line up with the frame their looks, success, or fame suggest...they'll fall flat (it's rare in those cases, because the feedback has been so positive for so long that it's more likely than not that confident behavior has become a part of them, but if that confidence is tied to any of those things, rather than the knowledge of what constitutes confidence itself, watch that confidence wilt if any of that goes away).

Anyway, it is what it is. The "looks matter" crowd can use that bullshit argument all day long to justify their failures if they want, but hopefully some of you are smarter than that.
