I see quite a lot of posts on here wondering, "Is [x] alpha? Is [y] beta?" I think this is the wrong way to take the red pill.
The best thing you can do with the information here is to take action.
I would argue the big difference between alpha and beta is active vs. passive action. It's alpha to know what you want and then work to achieve that. It's beta to throw up your hands, say, "Woe is me!" and fritter your time away on the internet.
Define your goals in life, make a plan to achieve those goals, and then take action on your goals.
As men, we are blessed with the capacity for work. After swallowing the red pill, you should be focused on using this capacity for work to improve your life. Reading TRP and other sites only goes so far. The real changes happen after you take action.
There's a reason that standard advice here is, "Hit the gym, hit on chicks, delete facebook." Going to the gym and going out to work on game are actions you can take that improve your life. Surfing facebook is a passive activity that adds very little value.
The more action you can take on a daily basis to improve yourself, the quicker you can increase your value.
Choose a goal. Make a plan. Take action.
