Do you flat-out make up stories often? Do you talk the most during the interaction? Do you ever prompt them to tell emotion based stories with the same effect or does it have to come from you? Do you get to the point where you can add emotional content to just whatever subject you're talking about on the fly? Do you add emotional content with keywords?

If all this works when I get it all together to test I'm bookmarking all this under Seraph (as in the Matrix).

It's like finding a new, hard puzzle and wanting to solve it. More pieces. More shapes. More colours. More tricks. And this one... is composed both of logic and emotion, and can even be lost if another trying to solve it merely jumbles your own attempt.

I have not had a spark of curiosity like this in many years.

I agree. It's a different way to look at life - what emotion am I creating in this interaction, what emotion do I want to create, what's it's opposite, what if I change the sequence, ..

I am coming to see a lot of principles and RP truisms as manifestations of more basic truth. Simple yet infinitely complex.

I feel the exact same way. It even gave more context to understanding briffaults law.

It's exactly why women are able to ignore everything you've done to them in the past. When they can derive no more benefit from you (i.e when you stop providing them with emotional waves), they can easily monkey branch to someone who can.

All of what /u/iOweItAllToFeminism is doing can be labeled into having an extremely strong frame too.

I feel like a lightbulb has switched on in my head.

Ya.

The selection of title for this article is definitely spot on in respect to that. I am sorry to say a shit-ton of time will now need to be devoted to watching various chickflicks & emotional-fodder I normally ignore. If I want to script myself as the story-teller I need both the life-experience (I do) and the proper presentation (I don't) to do this.

I've spent a huge part of my life neutralizing emotions so they are off for good or on only as needed. Happy? Yes, on, but only for an instant to verify, really, I feel no problems at a subliminal level (too broad & computational to be aware of in a conscious manner). Fear: yes, but again only in a position of likely threat. It's the fastest way to predict a safe path out of danger, so when there's no danger, it's shut down & hard. Anger: yes, but only for learning. Surprisingly I learn much faster when angry. I'm guessing adrenaline + increased oxygen to the brain is a part of this. I figured this out while solving video game problems that had both strategy & high reflexes. I later found out while programming, which isn't reflex oriented at all, that it still helped me plow through a lot of diverse problems. Loneliness: never. It serves me no benefit at any time. It's been off since at least 2003. 2002 is when my last LTR ended.

This is some next-level red pill shit.

... imagine the ability to completely circumvent the need for women by creating a post so gay that anyone who reads it will be immediately and irreversibly afflicted with a burning need for dick. Holy fuck man. My mind is blown.

This post is the bee's knees. Very very interesting write up. I look forward to more in the future.

Reposting for others to see.

After reading your posts today I had a girl from school come over to my place to smoke herb and "chill". The whole time I focused on training myself to get in the habit of giving her different emotions. I used some of your examples, like the gun-point story, almost running over a dog, and I even threw in the "I wanted to taste you before you smoked" after kissing her before we started smoking. She was eating it all up, when I was looking in her eyes it was like she was admiring me (no joke!).

After we smoked I broke my frame though, my cognitive brain power weakened and I starting "defaulting" into some of my old beta ways. Things like being hesitant to make moves, minor anxiety, and I felt like I was just too in-my-head. I managed to will through it though, and I had her on my bed escalating, and things seemed to be going pretty smoothly. That is, until I started sucking on her tits and she starts pushing me away. She gives me this whole "I just broke up with my boyfriend of 4-years two weeks ago, it's too soon" story. I kissed her a bit more then stopped and said "okay", and then I backed off and continued watching the movie that I had playing. I tried to re-escalating again, but it was no-dice. She ended up leaving about a half-hour later.

But enough of that, I just have a couple questions for you about some things I can work on.

While your examples had a great effect on her, I feel like the stuff I improvised didn't have as much of an effect. I just want to make sure i'm doing it right. At one point she mentioned she went skydiving before, so I told her how its something I plan to-do, and how i can only imagine the feeling you get right before you have to force yourself to leap out of the plane...I figured it would get her to re-live the emotions she had at that moment when she went. I know I didn't pair it with any opposite emotion, but was that example fine?

Also, when your escalating on her, making out and fondling her and what not, how do you give her various emotions aside from just the excitement she's feeling in the moment?

And finally, is there any way you would have handled her after she gave me the whole recent break-up speech? I feel like i could've fucked her tonight if I did a couple things differently.

Thanks!

Thanks for the response.

I'm seeing her again on campus Sunday for a group project, so i'll definitely be prepped for then.

When she gives you material, seize upon it. Skydiving is a potentially deadly activity. Something like "[my friend/relative/whatever that she will never meet] died skydiving. [They] got tangled in their shoot". Ultimate terror.

After reading that I feel like I understand what you're saying a lot more. So pretty much anything said can be spun into any emotion you like. There are so many common things people talk about that are potentially dangerous... Driving, flying, drinking, pretty much any drug, cycling, etc.

You can say "My friend X died while riding his bike high on shrooms after smacking into a pole, the whole experience must've been terrifying for him", and give her strong negative emotions.

Or you can say "I had one of the happiest moments in my life biking through a field while high on shrooms, I just felt pure joy the entire time". Two completely different emotions, while having the two main subjects (biking and shrooms) the same.

I can't wait to become a pro at this.

I really enjoy reading your posts. About the way of delivering emotions in conversations: How important would you rate things like intonation, facial expressions and body language etc.? I think it's beneficial to deliver authentically, right? Are there certain emotions that have to approached more carefully than others? I think of shame and guilt for example.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 11 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

For now, you're stone, and you ignore, only giving emotion.

This serves you by getting you to focus upon delivering emotion only. At the same time, you will be less likely to make mistakes which I will outline in the next post on intermediate strategy.

Just focus on getting the words out for now. When you can get that far, you're just about homefree, and we can move on to more advanced topics.

Like I said in the post, as you get better, you can actually start breaking all of the rules you've been taught, so in terms of importance, nothing is as important as emotion. Emotion is everything.

You may think sincerity is important, but a "legend embraces his opponent's logic for her derision". I have delivered in ways to appear completely insincere or talked about a sad subject while laughing or talked about a happy subject while trying to act like I'm crying. That confusion only serves to increase emotion. I recommend you don't do that yet. It was only to illustrate the point.

Stick to the basics. Remain stone. Ignore their words. Deliver emotion whenever it's your turn to speak.

Glad you keep replying to add context. The original above is gone at this moment.
