In a nutshell, the average redpiller's explanation for why women prefer alpah assholes to pussy-boy betas is essentially, "Alphas are more likely to be successful in procuring resources for offspring." Well done.

However, don't forget that the true driver behind evolution is natural selection. And the driver behind THAT is random mutation. In the animal kingdom, this means that in a herd of giraffes that wanders into the serengeti where the grass is brown and the trees are high, the one male giraffe who has a freakishly long neck will survive and the rest of the short-necked male giraffes will starve and die. The short-necked females who are slowly withering away will now have only one option regarding who to fuck: the long-necked mutant. They will promptly fulfill their biological duty and birth a host of long-necked freaks.

Another example: You hunters may have noticed that multi-point bucks are fewer and fewer these days. Why do you suppose that may be?

It's because hunters also prefer larger-racked bucks, so much so that they kill them as frequently as they can and allow the yearlings to go scot-free. With all the big alpha bucks dead, who else will seed the does?

In both these cases, the females do not PREFER one type of mutation over and above a whole host of other genetically consistent geneotypes. Instead, due to a massive shift in the environment, one type dies out and another type is all that's left. THERE IS NO ATTRACTION. The animals are not calculating the likelihood that these mutants will be able to provide for them, nor are they suddenly attracted to this type as a result of its new ability to do so.

So here's my point: humans DO run those types of calculations. What humans do is NOT natural selection. It's heuristics.
