So I've been reading a book called The Slight Edge recently (great book, highly recommend) and the big theme of the book is how extraordinary success is simply the measure of simple, unglamorous acts compounded over time. I'll keep this brief, but essentially, if you want to be successful at anything (since this is TRP, I'll assume you wanna pull chicks), you have to do the little things every day. We face situations every day where we can do something small, but will lead us to our ultimate goal later. You can spend the hour or two you normally do gaming or browsing social media to hit the gym. Say you have two identical guys. One guy decides to spend an hour in the gym, and the other decides to play video games. Will you be able to tell a difference the next day? Nope. But what about after 6 months? A year? This is the power of the slight edge. Let's say you get all nervous and awkward talking to chicks. You can start as small as telling yourself you'll ask one girl what time it is today. Standalone, this sounds stupid and unhelpful. But with time, you'll get more comfortable and start to grow. Then you could tell yourself you'll (genuinely) complement one girl each day. You can then apply the slight edge to any other aspect of your life you want to improve. I know everybody wants to come on TRP today and bang 3 virgins tomorrow, but true success comes from starting small and growing into yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day gents.
