This is gonna be a long post, but there’s a TL;DR at the bottom.

I discovered TRP a few months back and I’ve mostly just been lurking every once in a while and commenting here and there. However, I’ve been following TRP pretty religiously, working on my game, keeping myself busy and my mind clear, always been working out regularly so that didn’t change much.

But one topic I felt like that needs addressing is the younger generation. This post was inspired by another made a couple days ago that I felt really resonated with me as an older member of Gen Z. But it was being criticized because of how purple-pilled it seemed, so I felt that I should try to elaborate.

Before I get called out for being a purple-pilled moron, I’ll make my argument based on logic and hard evidence: the foundation of TRP.

TRP tends to emphasize biology and evolutionary sociology, which are more than valid justifications, but to remain valid they must hold true beyond correlation. To elaborate, if I were to tell you that I have a perfectly healthy pet horse then ask you how many legs it has, you’re likely to say “four”. Now if I were to tell you my pet has four legs then ask you what animal it is, you’re likely to say “dog” or “cat”. But how does this apply to TRP?

Most TRP logic follows this format “our male ancestors had to do insert something masculine so women tend to find that attractive today.” While there’s truth to genetics and historical sociology, you can’t forget the billion other factors that are in effect. Our culture, values, and desires have changed tremendously, and I feel it’s time TRP acknowledges this more.

“David” by Michelangelo is well known for having a tiny ass dick, and there’s a good chance that if he were an actual person today that he would be laughed at by anyone he would bang. However, he was seen as the ideal by women in ancient Greece. Still not convinced? Then let’s reverse the genders for this next example. Men during the post Renaissance era adored overweight women. But today it’s a fair assumption to make that most people prefer a small waist. So just because it applied during the stone age doesn’t mean it holds true today, because the whole culture has changed.

Most people here would argue that men today (ie younger generation) are weaker and “just need to toughen up” to have a chance with women. But the truth is, we’re playing an entirely different game altogether.

Without a doubt, everyone can agree that during middle and high school teenagers, boys and girls alike, deal with lots of societal pressures, anxiety, insecurity, etc. Social media only amplifies these issues. It can be argued that the age of digital media where TikTok boys and celebrities are publicly being fawned at for being “hot” every second by teen girls only filters out the strong from the weak by exposing the true desires of women. While that may be true, because boys are exposed to this culture at such a young age they literally are not mentally prepared to handle the harsh realities of life.

While women’s desires are exposed today, it becomes an uphill battle because younger men just have to face these harsh realities day in and day out when they shouldn’t have to at all at such a young age. Their brains literally have not matured to the extent to worry about things beyond their next basketball game or algebra test. Inevitably they will have to swallow the pill, but forcing it at such a young age is far from the solution.

In addition, there’s two parts of society. The truth and the “truth”. Society teaches younger men that it’s not unattractive to not do sports, not be social, or be a gamer. Some of us see professional gamers like Ninja and think “hey he has money, he gets girls, he’s successful, so I should live in my mom’s basement and try to play video games for a living”. That’s the “truth”. If success to those people means playing video games for a living, then there’s no harm in it. However, for most that doesn’t sound desirable. Yet, we are taught by society that something like that is acceptable. TRP believe in the truth, and that usually only occurs with experience, so we can’t be blamed for believing the “truth” because we aren’t taught otherwise. Suicide and depression rates are sky high, and I doubt that can solely be attributed to us being “weaker”. Because according to TRP logic, aren’t we genetically similar to Gen X or older millennials? The only difference is culturally.

It’s not the men that have gotten weaker, the game has become more unfair.

The goal of TRP is self improvement, but it becomes exponentially more difficult to improve yourself when the cultural barriers for younger people are become larger to overcome. I’m still on the grind, focusing on keeping my grades up, staying social, and working out, but I couldn’t start improving myself until I found support.

So what was the point of this?

While it’s not right to complain about the game, that doesn’t mean I can’t try to help gain sympathy in an effort to help others on their journey of self-improvement. I just want to ask everyone here with a younger brother, nephew, son, or friend, just support us. Calling us “weak” or telling us to “toughen up” isn’t the solution. If you see us having a tough time, try to be there for us. News flash: teenagers have emotions too, and we don’t know how to manage them on our own, especially in the digital age, until someone helps us out a little bit. You may think “he needs to learn on his own” using the logic “give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime”. But the game has changed; the water’s frozen. Help us break the ice.

TL;DR- The younger generation faces more cultural difficulties on the road to self improvement, so we need the guidance of the older generation. So go help out your younger brother, son, or nephew so they can better themselves.
