Part of the insidious BP lie is that women value being showered with attention. They like it. But they do not value it. Be a man of value. You're attention/thoughts/feelings/words/time are all expensive, and she pays with sex.
 
Here's another way to say this:

Women fall in love with you fall in love with the idea of you they build in their head.

Give them space so that idea of you grows. If you're attractive in person, the distance will allow her hamster time to spin her idea of you into someone she can easily fall for.
