"Vanity, thy name is woman"--Shakespeare A vanity is what we think makes us worthy of attraction, and all women (and maybe all men) have a vanity. For normal women, this will be their looks. But for women, vanity is beta bait; if you fall for it you are shown to be beta. We are familiar with the case of the woman who wears a low cut shirt, but if you actually look at her cleavage you are a creepy beta. Thus the classic game technique is to be unaffected by a women's beauty, to not flatter her vanity, to neg it. Good advice. (It must drive women crazy to be unable to help putting on displays of vanity and then despising anyone who falls for it.)

But there are lots of women whose vanity lies not in her beauty, and we talk about these cases a lot less. Gamer girls love/hate the attention they get from nerds dying for a girlfriend who likes video games as much as they do. Cosplay girls love/hate the attention they get at cons. Sporty girls like the attention they get hanging around with sporty guys. Artsy/deep girls think they deserve attraction because they are so deep, unlike those shallow bimbos. SJWs think their supposed moral superiority makes them worthy of attraction. Smart girls think its their intelligence, and so on. Be sure to pinpoint a woman's vanity when dealing with them.

They way to treat these cases is the same as when their vanity is in their looks: be unaffected by it, and neg it if possible. For example, if I saw a cosplay girl I'd say something like "ugh, I can't stand nerds. I'd ask you to get a drink if I wasn't embarrassed to be seen in public with you. Goodbye." Artsy girls think they're so deep, so call them a dork. Show yourself to be smarter than a smart girl displaying her intelligence (in a non try-hard way) to show you're unimpressed, and so on. Enjoy!
