Veganism ain’t supposed to be a health thing in the first place. It’s only a compassion thing. The so called health benefits come with the package to make it more appealing. But from a former 7+ years vegan nothing about veganism is gonna make you any better except freeing yourself from guilt. Everything else in your life is just gonna be worse.

A pregnant woman on a vegan diet is putting her unborn child at a very high risk of mental retardation.

My wife and I were involved in the cadet movement in Canada, and the young men and women who had veganism forced on them from birth and before were much shorter, smaller overall and physically weaker than their peers. While I can't attest to their mental abilities, their lack of muscular development was quite shocking.

We have to remember that humans are what they are today because of hunting and gathering, that is we ate both plants and the animals we hunted. We do not have claws nor do we have fangs, and so the development of our intellectual abilities which ultimately led to the societies we now live in, was the result of cooperation in the hunt, tool making to improve our capabilities in that hunt, and the formation of groups for the purposes of safety and cooperation.

To inflict the dangerous ideology of veganism on a child, thereby stunting his or her physical and intellectual development is cruel beyond belief.

These are your essentials? Watermelon and salads? Sounds like you didnt get educated at all and completely fucked up your first try of veganism. Where is rice, beans, potatos? It Sounds like you didnt count your calories and nutrients and ate like 500kcal a Day. Whole foods plant based vegan diet is the healthiest diet there is, but you need to get a grasp on what you are exactly doing first.

Can't say about veganism, but I've been vegetarian my entire life. We do consume milk and its by-products.

What I don't get is why vegans keep trying to push their non-scientific diet. If there was science to be had, there would be papers published. Same thing I say to all the people pushing "heart healthy grains" and the "sodium causes heart attacks" agendas: where are your scientific papers, how many human trails have you ran on your outlandish ideas instead of just making it FDA policy first, human safety second?

I mean, its 2am, lets get this rant out of my system.

High carb diets lead to the human body being unable to lose visceral fat, unable to properly uptake nutrients in our diets, and also fuck us on both testosterone production and conversion; low potassium in the diet leads to "high sodium", the answer to "high sodium" isn't less sodium, its more potassium (unless you're eating more than 4-5g of sodium a day, then you're eating a bit too much) to even your ratios out and your body is incredibly good at eliminating excess minerals as long as you drink enough water.

I'm not a doctor, you don't have to believe me, but every guy I've ever even become even remotely aware of that stepped off the Standard American Diet started reversing all those years of damage from the soyboy bullshit train.
