You read the first paragraph (out of four), disagreed with my thesis, and didn't bother to keep listening and find out why I hold that opinion. There was no checking to see if my position was valid. You just checked to see if it matched yours. And when it didn't, you were pissed, because I didn't make you feel good.

Guys like you pull this same bullshit every time you try to "meet women". You treat them like prey, like objects to be acquired, and any object you can't acquire is one you didn't want to have in the first place. It's defective. You have no responsibility not to be offensive, but she has every responsibility not to be offended, because you're trying. Problem is, you're trying to do the wrong thing.

Effort = pussy, right? Completely right, but not the kind of effort that you are putting in here, because you treat it like a video game, and you treat this subreddit like a forum. You raise your stats to win at encounters. You want to unlock achievements. And you think that if you hit the right combo, you deserve to win.

But guess what, motherfucker? Pretty girls aren't NPCs. They have their own storylines and quests that have nothing to do with yours. And while it's rare for you to encounter her type, she gets to deal with bozos like you every. fucking. day. She can recognize it instantly. She does not have time for your bullshit. In her game, guys like you are the low-level monsters that pop up every time she walks through tall grass.

Nobody expects long-term cooperative play from a guy they meet at a bar, but you're treating sex like a boss battle. This isn't a situation where you have to lower her stats until you win. You're adding her to your party for a mission. You are asking her to participate in what is, to her, a very common sidequest. There needs to be something that makes your particular iteration worthwhile.

Sure, an obvious compliment can be sincere. But it's usually a sign that the guy hasn't bothered to find out anything else. And guys like that are usually self-absorbed and terrible lays. Let's be honest, that compliment she's heard a thousand times was all you planned to give her, wasn't it? Because that's the bare minimum this quest requires from you. It's a supremely unfair trade. But it never occurred to you that she might have an opinion on it. You'd rather think of it as a randomly-generated outcome. Any sex that happens is your reward - nothing to do with her.

And that's why I won't be going home with you.
