Pay it forward. If guys didn't stick around to help out the newbies, then TRP would eventually die out.
Also, the process isn't THAT quick. It took me about 2+ years to build lasting, experience-based, self-confidence. I learned pick-up, learned how to date and flirt effective, learned how to manage drama and be more dominant, and I got rid of all of my relationship-related bad habits (neediness, jealousy, etc). It took quite a bit of time and it helped to check back in and read about other people going through the same things I was.

Good point, but also another important point is that we need community, we need debate.

Agreed - the process is slow. Realizing it is one thing. Rationalizing it is another. Actually putting it into effect can take years before it feels normal for some guys.

I personally use it as a constant reminder and refresher.
Habits are truly hard to break without pure devotion to the goal of breaking it. Also, bluepill-itis, like many form of diseases, are susceptible to relapse. Taking my daily dose of TRP helps to prevent this relapse.
Also, when I tend to get good plate spinning, I become complacent and let my guard down. Reading the same horror stories over and over again reminds me that yes, AWALT (to some degree), when I find myself falling head over heals for a "10/10" "unicorn".
(Women) "Fool me once, shame on you; Fool me twice, shame on ME."
Edit: Grammer

This. I am recovering beta, most of me already in the alpha zone, but I need my reality check from time to time. It's very easy to slip back into the hell again.

Some people will need this sub a lot more than others, one guy might be good within a month, another guy may need it for years. Depends on your starting point, I don't think an omega will magically become alpha within a month somehow even if he's reading the best blogs and listening to the best podcasts because he's already so far down that climbing out and seeing a change is going to take a long time.
Others come here to express views that wouldn't be tolerated anywhere else, they see it as a bastion of free speech for pointing out bullshit.
It also depends on how much money you've got and what you've got to work with to start off with, some people have more obstacles than others, if you're dirt poor good luck affording optimal nutrition to see gains working out and having enough money to hit the town, spin plates, take up new hobbies and buy all the books we talk about. I mean shit, if you're not at least middle class and you want to have a "RP lifestyle" you better start grinding. "Money over bitches" seems to be quite a fitting term to use here.
RP maxim #1: If need be, get your finances on lockdown by any means necessary in order to fund the lifestyle you want to lead, being another mans bitch feeding off the scraps he feeds you won't allow you to be the man you want to be.

I don't exactly contribute much but every now and then I read something on here that gives a good perspective on some aspect of sexual strategy. Like yesterday someone was talking about the way he treats his ex girlfriend to avoid her going full retard on him, which was an interesting thread to skim through. Some of the field reports and shit on here though makes me cringe.

TRP is not the seed. Whatever that fucking bitch did that opened your eyes is the seed. TRP is the fertilizer, and for those with especially barren fields, regular use is essential for anything to grow and thrive.
In focusing on the content, you miss out on the value of the network that surrounds that content. Knowing there is a place where 50k people seek out politically incorrect, bullshit-free discussion about modern masculinity has intrinsic value even much of it is the same questions and answers.

I thought that and stopped browsing for a while. A few months later I realised I was losing the red pill mindset and came back here for "updates", it helps keep you sharp.

I agree that after a point, spending time on TRP becomes more about socializing on the internet rather than improving yourself. Once you've learned the basics, the best way to spend your time is by going out in the real world and living your life. Something I need to work on ASAP.

This place is definitely a bit of a circle-jerky in regards to using TRP as an excuse to have a bitchfest about what girl 'x' just did.
That being said I find the conversation interesting and there are occasionally gems that are not only interesting and well written, but don't reflect the mainstream notions that are most often mentioned here (don't marry, women only cheat, yadayadayada).
I imagine with a weak mindset it's pretty easy to be misled with all the variety of advice here (and the extreme distrust of women). Yes I get the notion that the whole point of TRP is essentially Alpha Fux and Beta Bux, but that's just a simple explanation of what is obviously a more complex social interaction. This place is interesting when that complexity is explored without resorting to 'convenient tropes'.

Mate, I don't know if you live a perfect life or anything, but you can always learn something new.
