TL;DR: Somehow, a feminist book explains why feminism - and it's sole purpose - is pointless today

I have been scimming through our history books and found a quote of Simone de Beauvoir from the book "The Second Sex" - my first thought was:

"Fuck why did we let books of "women's oppression" get published."

While reading and simultaneously thinking about one of the biggest failures of man to this day, I saw one thing - just one small little teeny tiny bit of gold - that stuck out to me as Red Pill.

"Their situation is fundamentally different."

It explains the truth so elegantly. It's not just something we see in society, where women actually have a lot more advantages than men in some areas while being far superceded in other areas such as sport and corporate jobs, but also in dating where they have it FAR easier than men to get laid. This book, one of the many 2nd wave feminist books that continued the escalation of shit that we see today, also draws a strawman - in contrast to the former bit of gold - that "Women just AREN'T allowed to succeed! If only you saw what we could do if we had the freedom! Men just have far more freedom to accomplish what they want in life. One day in our struggle, our fight will end and we will at last be free!".

As is customary of Red Pill philosophy, we don't live by exceptions in reality. We can draw the conclusion from what we see today (The Women's March in USA among other things), that women have not achieved anything substantial(that is of value) compared to what men have throughout the ages.
