A big part of TRP is accepting harsh truths. One of the harshest truths you need to accept is that you are here because you are dumb. If you have been a beta all of your life it's because you have let more cunning and powerful people take advantage of you. That's a key component of being beta, someone else makes you beta. Left alone and without influence from anyone, you become the alpha. But you were slow to learn, didn't catch on to the game as quickly as others. Most likely denied what you subconsciously knew to be true out of embarrassment at your own failure. You haven't adapted as quickly as others. TRP is a cheat sheet, start using it to catch up and eventually gain an advantage. But realize, you weren't dealt an unfair hand. You just didn't realize you had the same power as everyone else to shape your own destiny.
