Thanks to fds I met a great man who treats me wonderfully.

I truly have no reason not to keep dating him except I don't want to.

Over our last date he gave me a small gift that I accepted and he asked me if we would be meeting again? Sadly, I automatically replied yes and we made plans.

After the date I really had time to process my feelings and realized I don't see a long term future with him.

My question is: Do I still go and keep my word/give him another chance OR do I let him know it won't work?

I find myself very lost because he treats me so well and has done many things for me.

How do I let him down like a HVW?
