Before I was aware of the advice to never use photos you use on your social media accounts on your dating apps, I was using the same photos. This has been the case for many months.

Obviously, I’m concerned about someone reverse image searching my pictures and being able to stalk my social media.

The thing is, some of those pictures I have of myself on both my dating apps and my social media I really like. I don’t know if it makes a difference, but on my social media I never tag my location, I always make sure my location is unidentifiable if I’m at home, and if I’m on vacation I post the photos after I get home. I don’t include my college, high school, birthday, phone number, email, or place of work on my social media. I barely post on my social media, and when I do it’s often reposting memes and stuff. However, I am virtually linked with family members who have more info about themselves available. No addresses though - however, I’m aware that on people search websites you can get a lot of info simply from an email address or phone number.

How concerned should I be about being reverse image searched? If you think it’s best to remove my dating app photos ASAP, should I also remove them from my social media as someone could potentially already have reverse image searched me? To date, I fortunately have never had an online stalker.
