Should I accept the date

Go with your gut. If he wants to take you out on a date, he should expect himself to plan appropriately. He asked you out a week in advance, so he had plenty of time to figure out a specific time and place, work being hectic is not an excuse. Just say that you made other plans since you didn't hear from him (don't point out the lack of details, it's not your job to teach him). Be polite and open if you're still interested in going on a date with him.

Yiu have the right idea. I'd give him ONE chance (maybe). But not tomorrow. No one is that busy. Remember that. So, tell him when you didn't hear from him you made other plans, but you're available (insert whatever day/s next week).

You must set a precedent on how you REQUIRE him to treat you, and last minute details and late replies ain't it. He'll come correct or disappear. You win either way.

I have not once, had a “vague date” work out. Your plan is great. The last time I did the same thing the man showed his LV ways in his response to me.
