I have changed A LOT lately and FDS definitely has helped. Not only with dating but with friends/family as well. I have a history of being a push over.

I have a friend that’s almost a decade older than me. When I first met her, I thought she was so cool and I really did look up to her. I told her everything, even about my past battles with anxiety/depression. Later as I blossomed and had my ‘glow up’ I did started looking at her differently, realizing she didn’t have it all figured out. She also started making some minor digs at me re mental health and such. Then she started being competitive a little bit, which I retreat from. So I started distancing myself. She moved but whenever she visits my city there’s a 50/50 chance she crashes at my place (often she’ll use me as a back up). She generally makes plans with her other friends in my city and squeezes me or I simply see her when she comes in to shower/sleep or drops off her bags.

Anyway I now live in a new city and she heard through a mutual friend. We recently had a text exchange and she basically said she loves visiting my new city and will likely visit soon bc one of her other friends is here as well. I said that was cool and to let me know if she ends ip being in town, Maybe we catch up. Her response was asking about my accommodations, which to me, suggests she wants to stay with me as I used to offer in the past. But rather than offering, I gave a vague response.

Is she already crossing my boundaries? And if I have to state them, should I be explanatory?
