Apology Needed?

Someone said it on here once...save the words "I'm sorry" for the big events. Here, instead, OWN it. Tell her "hey I didn't get that done, that's totally on me." And then either "I need you to do it" if it needs to be done or "I will get it when I get back" if it doesnt. Make it matter of fact...and broken record it if she tries to make it an issue.

Don't apologize, but rather own it. Admit to dropping the ball, but do it with integrity and leadership. Offer suggestion/solution. Treat it as though you were a politician.

Only apologize if you purposely were mean; AND you actually regret it.

Honestly can't remember now that last time I apologized. If you're owning your shit and your meanness you should never have to.

In your case the answer is definitely no.

Depends how early on in the MRP journey you are. I found I had to wean my wife off of apologies. If you've been a supplicating fuckup before, suddenly changing the apology expectations will make your life harder.

Sure, you could refuse to apologize. I don't think it makes a big difference in the long run. Say "I'm sorry" once. Move on. Do better next time. Make the apologies less frequent as time goes on. I don't remember the last time I said I'm sorry
