With the wifey she's I believe becoming accustomed to the silent treatment. Willing to coast by until we make up over some event we have to attend or something and are forced to forget our issues.

I admit. Im not at that stage where dreading her is really going to worry her because I'm just not quite there yet as a guy in terms of my status (right now I'm jobless and studying).

I also am diagnosed with ADHD (it's hard for me to juggle a lot) I don't have many friends, nor am I a very social person (I have social anxiety, that's getting better but is not all that great still). I'm lifting, getting bigger but still in early days..

Anyway. So my question is. I'm a guy who understands the need to be silent, engage less, let her come to you, then rengage if she recognises her bad behaviours.

But she's just sort of like used to it at this point. We were never really a couple who talked much. We both are very introverted with few people to talk to (....she didn't have any friendsand still doesn't) so it's not the end of the world for her if one more person doesn't talk to her because she's always kind of been a loner and relies heavily on family anyway.

And anyway when she's in this stage she gets pissed I've little things.

Like how the dishes are washed or something utterly mundane.

I sometimes DEER a little i admit but I usually just give her a slightly annoyed face and don't say anything.

I think this isn't really helping me. Maybe before I would DEER a lot or just apologise. So it's an improvement....

But I'm really thinking of just saying to her "Don't be a stupid bitch me right now" or "Shut the hell up", "don't try me" etc.

Is the balance just not to get into an argument after I say those lines? And just go silent after I say them?

Am I still holding frame?

Is it a good idea?

Thoughts anyone?
