I'm running into issues in my career where the leadership wants me to go back to graduate school to finish my degree. I left about halfway through after a bad experience that involved safety and ethics issues, among other things. Since I'm still angry and bitter about it, I can't clearly evaluate opportunities to go back to academia. It's enough of a problem that I have to watch myself when I speak about it because I'll end up on a rant when I should be STFU-ing.

This question may also be relevant to redpill newcomers who are typically a bit jaded towards women and relationships. I've heard this period called the "anger phase," but there's plenty of people (most incels and some MGTOWs) who seem to stay there. There's definitely a plank in my eye here too.

So what are some actionable steps to overcoming bitterness and moving forward?
