I have recently started a very intense semester of school, I have also started getting back into my weight lifting routine after taking a summer break to be lazy and unproductive. This semester I snapped right back into a monk mode mind set and I just don't have time to think about or bother with women. Working 30-40 hours a week, working 4-5 days, eating my 500 calorie surplus and studying every spare moment I have, yet I find myself letting my mind wander and start thinking about women. Cute girls in class, at work, sisters friends, random girls, etc...

My question is, has anyone had success with just keeping their mind off girls? I feel like when I sit down to study, I get hit by a barrage of thoughts pertaining to women and I just can't let it happen. It's very possible I'm going at this the wrong way, because in many ways I'm going against my biology, but at the same time I know if I did start dating some 10/10 girl at this time, I would lose her. My life isn't interesting because I'm a student with huge ambitions in science and engineering. Every moment I put towards my work at this time is more worth it than any amount of time I could spend doing just about anything else, yet it's hard to stay focused. Just writing this post and organizing my thoughts is helping, but I know there is someone out there who has had success in blocking out all distractions and conquering something bigger than they thought they could through "monk mode" and i just want to know how you did it. Anything helps, I just need some perspective on this!
