Keep up the condoms, looks like you've taken care of searching trp and checking the sidebar by this point.

If the sensation really is bothering you, try lambskin. More expensive but loads better. Or find an ultra thin variant of any major dependable brands. (Preferably with spermicide)

In addition, it may be in your interest to get a vasectomy the moment you can. I was born sterile, but I still got one, it only took about two weeks of discomfort and now I'm only on the watch for STDs and STIs.

You probably won't be getting one until you're older, 26/27ish most likely, but some food for thought.

Lastly, just remember if the plate breaks no biggie! Go get another! Enjoy bro.

First answer: by reading the side bar. There's a plethora of posts about plate management and having "The Talk"

Second answer: never go raw with a plate. Always be in control of the birth. You have to assume a plate is fucking other men. Protect yourself at all times, this also prevents unwanted pregnancies. It has nothing to do with trust.

Never trust a woman's word, always trust her actions.

Unless you're trying to get married or an LTR. Just make sure your pull out game is strong.

I can think of half-a-dozen ways you could come unstuck here, and you wouldn't know until it's too late:

She is somewhat forgetful about her pill. Some of these contraceptive pills need to be taken within the same 3-hour window every day to be effective, so "forgetful" is not a good thing.
She has been lazy about her pill in the past, she knows this full well yet has never got pregnant. She has therefore decided she cannot get pregnant. So she doesn't really bother lately.
She's using a more permanent form of birth control (injection, implant) and has messed up the date in her diary to get it updated.
She doesn't use any sort of contraception for whatever reason (health, religion) and generally tries to avoid sex when there's a high risk of pregnancy; she's been okay so far. The abortion she had last year doesn't count, because she could have sworn she couldn't get pregnant that week.
She's got an STD but doesn't know it. A number of STDs present more obvious symptoms in men than women. (It's difficult to see weeping sores when they're four inches up a vagina).
All the women in her family started the menopause unusually early. As a result, she's thinking about her biological clock a lot earlier than most women.
She has a number of sisters who left school with no qualifications and a baby on the way. Those sisters are now padding around their own flat in slippers and a dressing gown doing fuck-all with a roof over their head and food in their belly; she's worrying about how to pay next months rent. Suddenly, it looks like they've got it pretty good.
