Yesterday I told my ltr that we we going to go hiking, knowing she isn't crazy about the outdoors, but can enjoy herself sometimes. She gave me the typical response of slight disgust and "do we have to..?" so I told her I'd go without her in a light hearted manner. She told me not to, because hiking alone is dangerous, I laughed.

So this morning I woke up early, cooked breakfast, got dress and headed to the mountains. She was awake on her phone when I was getting dressed but we didn't speak. Hasn't texted me yet.

So I'm going to enjoy myself for a few hours, but when I come back, do I just act like nothing happened? Old BB me wants to come back and talk about how fun it was and spend the time hiking thinking about what nice thing I can do for her to make up for leaving her. Fucking A.

Edit: everything went incredible imo. She was napping when I came home. I woke her up to shower and get food where I wanted, then we did a small amount of shopping, had a few drinks, went back home and had sex. She tried to bring up "well maybe if you wouldn't have left without saying goodbye" and I cut her off in mid sentence making something up about her having something on her eye lid and started touching at it, ended that.
