So I was looking for advice on getting my ex back

a bit of context

me, M, 25

her, F, 24

When we first met, we were like crack to each other, absolutely obsessed and have the same future planned (work hard, travel a lot, no kids)

I met her on tinder as basically a one night stand but it progressed to us being best friends since we were so similar, originally we were both saying how great it was to finally meet someone who fits.

So things were really great up until about December, she was saying she was having money problems and stressed due to a long travel time to work, since I live near her work, I suggested her to move in so she could have less travel time and a lot less rent.

Before she moved in we hardly fought, always excited to she each other etc, liked to do the same stuff.

Post her moving in, she got promoted to a more stressful team leader job. Not too long after, it seemed to me she was a lot angrier than before, I wrote it off due to stress from a new position and tried to help etc.

We were still doing things like going out to shows and stuff, but sometimes it just seemed she was sick of me and had a short fuse with me and hated me.

So I was feeling like that for a few weeks, like she didn't want to be near me or I annoyed her etc - i put it in my head that she probably hates me and is too scared to break up with me.

So back in early march, I dumped her and kicked her out after she got home from work.

she was sobbing on the floor etc and saying I didn't talk to her when i felt like i told her the anger was too much for me a bit.

We were still talking post breakup like we were bf+gf and sleeping together for about a month - 6 weeks.

I apologised a few times to her and said i did it on a rash decision and thought it's what she wanted, but she keeps saying she doesn't know how i felt like that.

NOW

At first I was relieved when she left, but I have realised since she left she's my best friend, i love her and want things to change etc, so after sleeping together for a bit post breakup I said we should put a label back on us and she basically said she wanted to be friends or maybe we'd work in future..

Its been two weeks since that happened, we havent slept together and only seen each other once but we still talk and tag each other in memes and stuff, but I know she's trying to date other people at the moment..

What sort of things should I do to try get her back?

I dont think a blanket no contact is a good idea, but i am not initiating contact anymore

I think i should just work on myself in the mean time, study more, get a new hobby, and sleep with other people casually in the meantime and try to reconnect with her positively in a few months?

If i left anything out, please let me know
