The TRP guidelines are traits and behaviors of men who are successful with women. Those to whom it comes naturally don't have a list of guidelines and may never have heard of TRP. The guidelines are merely things people have observed and experienced that work. Sure, you can be outcome independent, do what you want, and do the opposite of TRP guidelines, but you also won't be successful with women.

Archetype of Chad is more or less what you described. If you do not care about the rules, if you do not have formed habits and if you are not game aware - you can still pull chicks. But you absolutely lack control game and influence on the outcome. You want to appear outcome independent but form the outcome as you wish

Guys who are already truly red pilled follow those rules because they do not see them as limitations. The reason they even have to be said is because a lot of guys just want the answer instead of the nuance behind the rationale for the answer. Once you understand why the game is played the way it is played you won't see these rules as some sort of holy book you always have to follow.

It's a process. You need to understand the basics and have a fair idea of what you're doing.

You don't become that guy with decent outcome independence, dgaf, prize etc...without internalizing basic knowledge.

After a while, you can have those simple mentalities, because you've internalized a lot of other knowledge.

You only get to mastery by doing the work

Think about a master chef. He's been cooking his entire life. He doesn't need a recipe or a cookbook. He just knows what ingredients go together, how the stove and oven work and what they do to certain foods at certain times and temperatures, and he even has a certain kind of sense and feeling about cooking and his own style he's developed over the years. If he shows up at your house, he can look in your pantry and figure out how to make something good from what's there without needing a recipe, because he just knows how to cook.

But he got there by going to culinary school, learning recipes, working in restaurants, and studying with other chefs. He started out making a lot of things using recipes, some working well for him and some not, until he developed his own sense for how cooking works and his own style.

Think of TRP like that. A lot of guys are posting their recipes and tips and tricks, but these aren't really "rules", so much as guidelines. Your goal isn't to memorize a bunch of rules then follow them. Your goal is to develop a good foundational knowledge regarding how to interact with women in a way that gets you what you want. Some of this knowledge comes from practice and experience, some from what you hear from others.
